Show of hands. Have you read Pride and Prejudice? I blush to admit I've just recently read it. Surprisingly, it was the HH who convinced me to. He went back to school several years ago to get his masters in English Lit and it was required reading for one of his classes. Before that he probably would have let himself be robbed and beaten before reading a Regency Romance. Okay, I exaggerate....kinda. He's now a Jane Austen fan. Her scenes and characterizations drew him completely into the story. He found it to be a true classic and the author an outstanding novelist.

I have trouble with the Captcha letters, too. And I gave Pride and Prejudice a try. I really did, but talking heads didn't capture my imagination.
Hey CJ, I didn't feel it was an easy read, but I liked it. Today, both readers and writers are geared for clear, sharp sentencing. Nothing extraneous. Keep it to the point and keep it moving.
Despise that captcha crap and never read it. Did I mention I hate word verification lol
yep, there's a mutual agreement around the blogosphere not to use word verification (which you have too, Sandra for reasons unknown) :), and to avoid the blogs which use them :) There is really no need for it. In settings you have options for getting rid of spammers. Captcha is devil's business.
Absolutely. Have awful problems with the authentications.
Dez and Pat, Okay. Went in and reset my settings. Hopefully, this takes care of it.
Hey Lovely Julia,
Rates pretty high on the irritant list doesn't it?
if you will have spam problems, Sandra, in the option where you decide who can comment (in Settings section) click OPEN ID people. That way only people who leave a link can comment and spammers cannot :)
