Snow, Snow and More Snow

This is what it looked like Wednesday when the snow started.
Thursday, it's still snowing.
And snowing....
Friday, it's starting to melt. This is snow/ice hanging from the back porch.
Saturday, we're on our way to recovery.

We ended up with over twelve inches of snow, which is the most we've had in the fourteen years we've lived here.We were  snowed in from Wednesday till Friday afternoon.
What was the weather like in your area?

Snow is so beautiful. We've just had rain and wind, so the skies have been grey, our lights have had to stay on most of the day, and there's been no opportunity for snowball fights :-(

About the same thing here, it needs to go

The sames and another storm on its way tomorrow. Is it July, yet?

It's still white on the ground here. Freezing rain/sleet/snow is expected tonight. Should make for a nice mess (and possible flooding since the ground is too frozen to absorb the water!). This winter has just been exhausting.

Today is warm and beautiful ~ a nice break from the recent subzero temperatures and snow. I, several times, have literally watched the snow climb up my kitchen window and onto the roof. Not an experience I want to repeat any time soon! Stay warm and safe!

That's a nasty combination, Stacy. Stay safe.

Hey Julia, We had the necessities...chocolate and coffee:)
I got up early to make the coffee in case the power went out:)
Seriously, though, we were okay.

OMG, Fundy. You take care of you.

At least you can still see the ground. I won't tell you how high the snow is here, but the piles I've shoveled are above my head. Yuk. I want spring so bad!
