The last time I went to the eye doctor, he politely mentioned that I might want to consider getting a little nip and tuck on my eyelids. Hmm. Okay. From there I went to a surgeon who told me I was losing peripheral vision but since I wasn't losing my forward vision, the insurance company wouldn't do anything about it. So I didn't have it done. Anyhoo, a couple of days ago I got a call from a colleague whose eye doctor had recommended the same thing. When he asked around about eyelid surgeries at work, another co-worker told him I'd had it done and looked great.

Well, I did work with a guy who would take weeks at a time off for "neck surgery." I thought it was an odd thing to have done more than once, so I asked and someone told me he was having work done. I'm pretty sure in his case it was true. I also worked with a woman who kept getting eyebrow lifts...after a couple, she started looking scared all the time!

It's been over a decade since I worked in an office but I do miss the office chat=)
