We trapped one in our garage many Christmases ago. He was bigger than I expected. Ugly, but cute in his own way. The girlies named him Chris. We had a big expedition trucking the trap out through the snow to let him go.
the sweetest lil' possum! We have them not here, only frogs and an occasional hedgehog :( and tones of snails who like to eat my cat's food when the night falls
Good for you and the fam, CJ. I had a trap set out for a feral to get it neutered and you guessed it, I caught Mr. Possum instead. His family came up on the porch that night to visit him. He played 'possum' while we were awake, but went on his way after we'd went to bed.

Never seen any here, just raccoons mostly
I always just think of them in the road, freezing to avoid being hit!
