Senseless and Sad
Hunters came into a cove community. My friend's pet ducks swam straight to the boat and the men shot and killed them. She'd raised them since they were babies. They'd never learned to fly. They were so tame, they'd go up to her back door and quack till she fed them. They pit stopped at the other homes on the cove regularly. I don't get it.I don't understand hunting anyway. The thrill of taking a life from an animal that's defenseless against a gun or bow. How is that sport? But to me, this is like going in someone's backyard and shooting their dog. It's senseless and sad.

Very sad, indeed.
ReplyDeletehunters are usually impotent or have small willies!
ReplyDeleteSad indeed, never got the point of it either
ReplyDeleteThat's disgusting! I would want to find them and see if I couldn't somehow arrest them or something. How is it sport when the ducks freely went up to them? How can they use them afterward if they were shot all to hell? This is disgusting and I am pissed to read about this. Were these assh$%& supposed to be in that community? Were they not too close to homes? I hope she can nail them in some way or another
ReplyDeleteThat is senseless and sad. I've always said that hunting can only be a sport if the animals have guns and can shoot back.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
This makes me sad, too. Why do some people get their thrill from killing something? I wonder why they were in the community, too. It doesn't sound like a hunting area, they just made it into one.
ReplyDeleteI hope someone confronted them on it, jerks! I love ducks, they're some of my favorite birds.
ReplyDeleteI'm actually not against hunting, I advocate for it. Though only for people who do with nothing but their fists. And the only thing they can prey on is healthy adult Grizzly Bears.
ReplyDeleteHi, CJ. Yeah, it was.
ReplyDeleteDez...grin:)
ReplyDeleteIt truly is, Pat.
ReplyDeleteBirgit, She called the game warden and nada.
ReplyDeleteI like that idea, Janie! :)
ReplyDeleteI've never understood it either, Elizabeth. Or some peoples need to fire off firearms inside a community.
ReplyDeleteShe sure did, Leandra. I love ducks too.
ReplyDeleteYou made me smile, Adam:) I heartily concur.
