I did not even realize these were on the market until our son and his family got us one for Christmas. Then I found out, his in-laws had gotten him one for Christmas. A few days later, in the book I was reading, the heroine got one for Christmas:) It must have been the gift of choice this year and I the only person on the planet to not have heard of them:)
What about you? Have you seen them? Do you have one? Do you like it?

I have seen and heard of them, but don't have one, and I must confess that I don't really like popcorn! Hugs, Valerie
Count me as ignorant. And we don't eat anything like enough popcorn to make it worth while. Sweet popcorn? Never. Savoury? Once every five years or so.
We've thought about getting one, but it would have to come as an air popper because we just don't do that much oil.
I have seen these, but they are very expensive, and I don't eat popcorn anyway.
I'm not a big popcorn eater but it looks like fun (especially at a party). I was totally ignorant of their existence. Thanks for educating me! :)
Hi, Sandra!
Just thought I'd pop over. :)
Every few weeks a popcorn machine is offered as a prize on The Price Is Right. Most contestants vastly underestimate the price which, as I recall, is in the $1,000 to $1,200 range.
Happy Tuesday, dear friend Sandra!
I've seen them, but don't know of anyone who has them.
I didn't know they were for home use.
We have a giant one in the church that we break out for special events. It's ancient, I'm amazed it still works....
I haven't seen one here in quite a long time, thanks for the memories Sandra.
Yvonne.
A few bars I go to have these for the kiddos to have something to munch on. I'm not a fan of popcorn though. The smell makes me nauseated and they kernels get stuck in my teeth.
Iv'e seen them everywhere around Christmas time. A very easy idea for a gift
if this machine makes popcorn that tastes like "movie theater popcorn"..... awesome !!
Oh my goodness. Not like popcorn? And you like chocolate and coffee. How did this happen? Grin.
Hugs
We're popcorn eaters:)
I don't know if they make them as air poppers or not. We use coconut oil. It's pretty tasty.
Another non popcorn eater. I was surprised at the number of folks that don't like popcorn.
I think they've got the poppers in a wide range of prices.
Yet another non popcorn eater:)
This one makes different amounts. The boy and family got me prepackaged popcorn for my bday that work out well for two.
Yikes. That must be what Anne Marie meant by very expensive. They have them reasonably priced on Amazon.
And a happy Tuesday to you, Shady.
Not cheap, but cheap compared to 1K:)
The HH fixes the popcorn and he says it easy to use:) Always a good thing.
I didn't either till we got ours. They're like little miniatures of what you see in the theater.
Those big ones are cool:)
You're most welcome. Have a great day, Yvonne.
I love the smell of popcorn. You are so right about those darn kernels. I wear them in my teeth after I leave the theater.
I never noticed them. I don't know how I missed them.
It does:)
I love popcorn, it does not love me. I've seen the machines, nice gift idea!
I have seen these and wondered about the popcorn. May need to put it on my wish list!
My husband has been talking about getting one of those very things for our bonus room, which we bought a big wraparound couch for late last year. We're turning it into a movie room.
I've seen them, but I have a different kind of popcorn maker. I haven't eaten popcorn in a few years because I ate too much of it with too much butter. Now I'm hungry for popcorn.
Love,
Janie
Bummer about popcorn not liking you:(
I'm good unless I add a bunch of butter. Then it doesn't like me either.
Sounds like a good wish item to me:) We think it makes good popcorn.
I think that's so cool that you are developing a movie room. The popper would fit in perfectly.
Let's go make some, Janie;)
Interesting. Not a lover of popcorn though.
Whatever happened to Jiffy pop? We microwave ours...
LOL Yes! They are pretty rad. Though, nowadays, I just put my kernels in a pot with oil, and pop them over the stove, throwing in a dash of sea salt for flavor. YUM!
Hmmm, not into popcorn these days, but you enjoy it, girl. :)
