Awwww.
And the only cat I ever tried to walk on a harness didn't take to it a fraction as well as that.

my 3 say - we would NEVER stoop so low as (a) wear a leash and (b) walk with dogs.

Awwwww! At first it appears the Husky's are the cats security guards. Then that cat starts trying to walk faster than one, bahaha. Great video to start the day off, thanks!!

Hi, dear Sandra!

That is a very cute video! It reminds us that all kinds of critters (and people) can be besties.

Do you remember the hit 1966 single by Norma Tanega?

Have a happy Thursday, dear friend Sandra!

Keeping up with the pups too. Tried a harness on a few cats before, didn't go over well lol

Muffins:)

So is the trick to start walking them when they're kittens? Because Harleyquinn tries to climb the trees, and Poison Ivy just lies flat on the ground hoping you'll take her back inside....

When the girlies were little, they thought it would be a good idea to take Ink for a walk. We bought a harness and a leash. There was a huge battle just trying to get the harness on him. It was a better idea in theory. :-D

I've tried to walk a cat. It just goes to show, everything needs motivation. Rosie is motivated by her friends. I wish my elderly tom would want to do more than get the chihuahua's chasing through the house. Approaching 18, I don't think it may turn out that well for him sooner or later.

I don't see mine warming up to it either.

This is the first Rosie vid I've seen. I'll have to go looking. She's just cute as a button.

I'm glad. I did too, Val. Hugs

Sandra Cox said...

Ha! I don't doubt that for a moment. 'Fraid mine wouldn't either:)

My husband's ex-wife had a pet iguana when he met her. I believe she did try to walk it once...it didn't go so well.

I think cats should be on leashes and not allowed to roam free-too many get killed by cars. I love this video. We let one of our cats out on a leash and he likes to meander about instead of walk but he , how shall I say, dislikes it when you want to bring him back in. My hubby has to put a thick blanket on him otherwise I would be picking up my hubby's arms off the ground:) Once the bugger is back in he turns back into a kitty instead of demon cat

Perfect! That sound made me quite nostalgic for the 60s. Thanks, Shady.

I've never had success with it either:)

Sandra Cox said...

:) You are probably right on starting when they are kittens. Mine aren't leash material other.

Thanks for the follow, Harlynn:)

Heh, heh. Yeah:)

You've been an amazing parent to keep your baby for 18 years. That's in the geriatric zone. My oldest is approaching 14.

Sandra Cox said...

Are you saying you've had your quota today, Adam?

Sandra Cox said...

Oh my! That's a new one;)

Good for you, Birgit. You're good kitty parents.
We have a privacy fence with a cat arm on it, so our crew can meander about in a safe environment.

:) Thanks for the paws up, much appreciated.
The harness shrunk, huh.

I used to walk my cat Sandra, you see she was Diabetic and couldn't go out to play like nother cats. She got used to it and the shots I had to give her.
Great post.
Yvonne.

Aww, so cute! I could not imagine my cats being that well-behaved on a leash.

Sandra Cox said...

Hi Margaret,
I've had some friends that have tried, but success.....Not so you'd notice:)

Sandra Cox said...

I had a diabetic too, Yvonne. He was too feisty to give shots to so the vet put him on pills. He may have lived longer with the needle, but not sure I could have got the job done. Kudos to you. Sounds like you took good care of your baby.

Sandra Cox said...

Hi Elizabeth,
Mine either. They would probably just turn around and look at me like I was nuts:)

Awww, too cute! I love cats that can be walked on a leash!

That's so sweet, Sandra. I've been thinking about walking my cat, Mongo, because he's been getting a bit fat. The thing is... I don't want to be known as the guy who walks his... cat haha.

Sandra Cox said...

Gotcha:)
And...what if a huge cat-hating dog was on the loose. That could be really nasty.

Sandra Cox said...

Yeah:) I think so too:)

Rose seems to feel perfectly comfortable doesn't she?
