Nope, I don't have a basket of free kitties or puppies, just a freebie book and some ninety-nine centers. Oh and by the way, I'm preaching to the choir here, but it's not a good idea to give away puppies and kittens unless you know the person who wants them. There really are folks out there that pretend they want pets, get them and turn around and sell them to labs.
But back on target. As you can see I've been playing with PSP again. I'm stuck on the three or four things I know how to do. It's time to spread my bat wings and figure out more 'stuff'.
And.....
Today is Faux Paw's 14th Birthday.
Beautiful cat you have..
ReplyDeleteThanks, Margaret:)
DeleteLove your Faux paws, reminds me of my darling Kitty, who lived with me for 22 years. Have a lovely day, hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteTwenty-two years. That's amazing, Valerie.
DeleteHappy birthday, Faux Paw! Really awesome name you picked for him.
ReplyDeleteThe HH named her, Alex, because she always was causing faux pas:)
DeleteHappy birthday. So cute! And yes, I read that on Facebook once in a community group I was in. Someone was giving away a puppy she didn't want and people told her she needed to put a price on it to avoid it being taken by the wrong person.
ReplyDeleteGood advice. Some small rescues will charge a minimal amount then reimburse it once the new owner (caretaker) comes back with proof they've had their pet altered.
DeleteHi, dear Sandra!
ReplyDeleteFaux Paw is an inspired name for a kitty. Happy birthday to your beautiful pet!
We thank you, Shady.
DeleteLooks like you're having fun with PSP. A Happy Birthday to Faux Paw. Such a pretty kitty
ReplyDeleteIt is fun. There's still so much I need to learn on it though.
DeleteThanks from Faux:)
Happy birthday, Faux Paw! Yep, dirty rotten sobs are out there, so have to watch it with those free kittens and puppies.
ReplyDeletePretty sad that has to come on the radar isn't it?
ReplyDeleteLove that beautiful cat. And we have had one (or six) who could rock that name as well.
ReplyDeleteSometimes deliberate, sometimes innate klutzdom.
I hope your sales go gang-busters.
I hear ya on the rocking the name, grin.
DeleteThanks, EC. Gang busters works for me:)
PS: Amazon.au still has your books at full price. No sale here.
DeleteThanks for letting me know, EC. I'll check on it.
Deletegreat stuff Sandra. PSP is fun. Also if you want to learn new things on it, go on Youtube, its a great place to pick up new things. xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip, June. Much appreciated.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to Faux Paw (love that name!)!
ReplyDeleteShe says thank you:)
DeleteHow are you, Cherie?
Happy Birthday to Faux Paw. A very cute cat and I didn't know that people would sell them to labs...disgusting. I will look for your books
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday Faux Paw!
ReplyDeleteFirst, happy birthday to Faux Paw. Bleubeard and Squiggles give a big happy birthday paws up, too.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea people sold kitties that had been given away, but I'm naive. I got Bleubeard from my god-daughter and paid to have him neutered and all his shots when I first got him. For free, I thought I had a bargain.
I got Squiggles at the Humane Society for NINE dollars. They were having a sale. He came with a chip, had been neutered and had all his first shots. All I had to get was a 6 month booster, then annual shots after that. I hope people will consider using their humane societies, because before I got him, I thought since there were so many unloved cats in the city I would try to get one of them. But I learned it is cheaper (after all, I am known as the Queen of Free) to get one that has already had all shots and neutering already done.
Almost forgot. I've never played with PSP. I'm stuck with PhotoShop and still don't know hardly any of the cool things it does.
Great name Faux Paw! 14 years! Bless his heart!
ReplyDeleteThat is terrible about people taking puppies or cats and selling them to labs!
She earned it. grin.
DeleteIt is terrible.
Is Boji Stones your book too?
ReplyDeleteYes:)
DeleteI see it on your side bar, sorry!
ReplyDeleteI appreciate you asking:)
DeleteLoved Love, Lattes, and Mutants - really enjoyed Piper and Tyler's interactions and how sweet it was. Am hesitating on taking the plunge into book 2 and 3 because I'm not fond of love triangles (my heart can't take it). Can you reassure me that there's a happy ending for everyone? :P
