Batman V Superman

The actors were great, but the story line was not the typical Batman/Superman action flick.  I came away with the feeling it was more of a prelude to the upcoming  Wonder  Woman film, which by the way I am looking forward to.

At least it didn't put you off Wonder Woman.

I have heard nothing but negative reviews about this film. I'm still trying to wrap my head around Ben Affleck's as batman....just doesn't seem to go.

Maybe I'll wait for it to come on Netflix

That last part where they realized Marth was both their mother's name was cringe worthy.

It seems a bit away from the original idea

Wonder woman sounds great. I wouldn't mind seeing this movie just to see what the talk is about. I'm still not caught up on all this pop culture trend. But it would be the last time. haha
I read your book "Ghost For Sale". It was a fun read.

Thanks, Val. I didn't go into it with any expectations and it was a rental. So it was okay. It is just too bad they didn't do more with it.
Hugs back,

Thanks, Yvonne. It's okay. We saw it at home. The producer also produced Man of Steel which I didn't care for and I'm a little concerned about Wonder Woman since he's produced that too.

Thanks for the review. Wasn't high on my list anyway but now it's not there at all!

I always kind of figured it was going to be more like Justice League lite than a real vs story like Dark Knight Returns

Affleck managed to pull off an angry, vigilante Batman to the point I didn't have a lot of empathy with the character. And the movie was draggy. Not good for an action film.

I'm not sure what they were trying to accomplish....

I really liked it. We saw the extended DVD version and it was a lot more powerful in the end.

I hear ya.

Though, I was relieved Batman finally quit trying to annihilate Superman.

It was really different...

I saw the previews before it hit the theaters. It didn't interest me then, and it doesn't interest me now. Sorry it disappointed you, though.
