Today I'm visiting with our pal, Stephanie Faris.
And speaking of Stephanie...yesterday was her bday! A belated happy one, Steph.
Lots of bdays this month!

We used to find the drumsticks left behind when one of our cats caught spiders. Sadly he caught one which bit him back. Neither of them survived. And more than ten years later I still miss him.

You haven't reached Stephanie's blog yet. I will check back later.

My Kitty used to love catching flies etc, but as she got older and couldn't move so well, she mewed and complained till I got rid of them for her! Happy birthday to Stephanie! Hugs, Valerie

A hazard with cats, they want to bring you trophies

Nothing says lovin' like a decapitated mole. A gift each morning from Mitty, the cat we had before Ink.

My weenies disappear into the plants looking for the cicadas and munch on them. It isn't fun brushing their teeth after.

Gypsy was an expert kitchen moth killer. Lizzie is into flies. Either way works for me!

Aww, thank you for the happy birthday! That was a nice surprise. And EEK...bugs! My dog tends to try to catch flies with her mouth but I haven't yet seen her succeed. I'd probably freak out if I did!

Ha. That's funny. They quickly figure out that if they work it right, we'll do what we're told.

Indeed. The one that stands out in my mind is a squirrel's tail.

And I thought the squirrel's tail was bad.

Lizzie must be fast:)

Sandra Cox said...

You are most welcome. Hope your day was a great one. The flies are probably safe;)

She is a real flycatcher! Our cats do the same and my hubby calls them raisins...works for me. Now, according to my mom, when i was a year old i used to eat them off the floor, spiders too and even a worm. Thank god I don't remember

Thankfully, my boys don't go after anything since Squiggles found a mouse about a month after he moved in. He didn't kill the mouse, just played with it. Bleubeard chose to leave them both alone. I finally had to take it away from Squiggles and get rid of it.

I hope Stephanie had a wonderful birthday.

I wish I had a cat for that reason
