Political Bumper Stickers

To my Republican friends, please feel free to ignore this. I try to avoid politics on this blog, because we all feel so deeply about our points of view and sadly there is such a huge divide between the parties. I'm posting this because it struck my funny bone:)
My brother and sis-in-law went with us when we traveled to Southern Illinois a few weeks ago. We had my brother pull his car in the garage, where it was parked next to mine.  He and I took one look at the bumper stickers, on the cars parked side by side, and burst out laughing. I don't know if you can make out the stickers, but his is a Bernie sticker  and mine is Hillary. We had both bases covered...even if it didn't do us any good:)

This sounds like me and my older brother. However, it was Trump versus Hillary. I wish my brother did feel the Bern. Cheers.

HaHa! Well as a bit of a follower over here in
the UK...I'm amazed Trump is still alive! What's
the odds....None! I've looked! :).

Over here, l've always maintained that the UK is
run by 'Lairs..Cheats..and Thieves' "NuffSaid".

I also say that Politicians should be like
diapers/nappies, changed regularly and for
the same reason....!!! :).

At least neither were the D word.

We recently had an election in our district in KS. It was to replace Mike Pompeo, the guy who took over the CIA. It was nearly as bloody as the Trump/Hillary debacle a few months ago. I have to admit, the only person who was doing the mudslinging was the guy who won, the republican. Both the Democrat and the Libertarian were civil and decent.

Not only the same party, but the stickers are on the same side of the bumper :-D Happy Monday!

I don't bother with bumper stickers of any kind. And I rarely notice other people's sticker, but did notice one yesterday on a car that was right in front of me. "If my dog doesn't like you, then I Don't like you.Z" Not political, but still.

I was afraid to put my Hillary bumper sticker on my truck, which says a lot about many of "the things" followers.

Thanks for making me chuckle Sandra. Love it! :)

I think this is quite funny. How stickers and license plates can say so much

Indeed:)

Ha! Good point, Willie.

In reading this I thought, wouldn't it be nice if we could disagree without all the drama? I am so tired of it. And like Donna, I was afraid to put a Hillary bumper sticker on my car. That seems so unfair.

Just thought...Few years back someone, still don't
know who, stick a sticker on the back of my then
car, which said...
'This car is insured by the Mafia, you hit us, we'll
hit you'.... HeHe! Quite appropriate really....Being
Sicilian! :).

Sandra, I love them!!! I would have been happy with either one of them 🌹

Hehehehe I'm so sorry neither of you got your wish. Both would have been awesome. (Personally, I'm a Bernie fan. His policies worked nicely with what I believe needs to be done.)

I was hoping the Dems would take that one.
Maybe Georgia.

If we can't laugh about our politics and agree to disagree, then move on we might as well move to Venezuela. There's nothing to laugh about there and people are too tired and hungry to disagree about anything.

Glad you liked it, Barbara:)

You mean disagree like grownups?:)
Yes, it is unfair.I had my sticker on before the Republican candidate was chosen so I didn't have to worry about that.

Sandra Cox said...

I would have too, Jan.

Sandra Cox said...

I would have been thrilled with either also.
