I'm currently reading an eight hundred plus page book on George Washington written by Ron Chernow. Because of that I foresee a lot of Washington trivia in your future:)
Did you know that Washington was a keen hunter and developed the dog breed known as the American Foxhound?

It is amazing how some books capture your mind and your imagination. Happy reading.
No, I didn't know that. How long do you estimate it will take you to read a book that long? Will you read other books at the same time (as I do)?
Love,
Janie
Sounds like an interesting read. I had NO idea he was a dog breeder.
Sounds interesting, I didn't know that- Hugs, Valerie
You know I love my trivia, so I can't wait to learn more! Yay! Hugs...RO
Interesting.
Wow, no I never knew he was dog breeder.
It is indeed. I've temporarily set George aside and am trying to get through the Mueller Report.
Good question. In the past, I've tried to get a half an hr a night in then I switch to fiction. At the moment, I'm slogging through the Mueller Report in my nonfiction-time-window.
He was a fascinating individual.
now the cats are going to see this and say Lincoln was "kewler" =^..^= ♥♥☺☺
Never knew that. A win for the dogs.
You are a brave woman, Sandra.
I suspect that many gentlemen of the time bred dogs, especially hunting dogs.
I wouldn't be surprised.
I was surprised too.
Hugs received and returned.
Glad to hear it:)

The whole cherry tree thing was a lie though.
It's well-written in easy to understand language, but it's looong. And lots of redactions.
Now ya know;)
Heh:) No doubt, they will:)
You know, I did read that somewhere. Pretty cool I think.
Ron Chernow is awesome! I bet that book is fascinating.
I did not know that about Washington. I bet you will be finding out all kinds of information in your book. Happy reading!

Indeed:)
He cut down a couple in the courtyard, but I don't think it had anything to do with the 'I cannot tell a lie' thing. Heh.
Agreed:)
It's filled with many tidbits I wasn't aware of.
Hi Jess,
Indeed. I'm discovering many things I did not know.
No, I didn't know that.
Thanks for sharing and continued happy reading.
All the best Jan
