Digging his way to China.
Frank is the only cat I know that's trying to dig his way to China.
First he dug up the Irises.
Then he pushed the bricks out of his way that were positioned behind the Irises to keep him from digging under the fence...and dug his way out.
I'm still trying to figure out how he moved those bricks. Though we did have a cat (who inspired Shardai) that would drag around a five pound weight by the rope it was attached too. Oh yes, and periodically knocked over the sectional couch.
AND...
AND.... Still growing. The bee balm is up to my chest. It's time to stop streaking skyward and concentrate on blooming:)
Hostas…
AND...
Hostas…
It sounds like your weekend was bliss.
ReplyDeleteFrank is definitely a cat to be reckoned with.
Love your garden too.
Frank certainly has a mind of his own:)
DeleteThanks, EC.
Hope all is well.
Your cat has a mind of his own, a sometimes wicked one! That bee balm was perhaps planted by Jack of Beanstalk fame? Love the video, too. Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteHe certainly does have a mind of his own. Heh.
DeleteYou may be on to something about Jack. I think he also dropped some other seeds in the garden;)
Hugs received and returned.
And that little boy is such a cutie!
ReplyDeleteHe's a mini-me of his daddy.
Deletehaha nothing is going to stop him. Sounds like a good weekend indeed.
ReplyDeleteHe certainly works it. We're currently putting stakes in front of the bricks:) We'll see.
DeleteNo idea what bee balm is. Frank sounds very determined to get somewhere but I don't think he would like China. Great family time by the sound of it.
ReplyDeleteMonarda. I call them Bad Hair Flowers because the petals are so quirky.
DeleteHa. No, he probably wouldn't like China, but you can't tell him anything:)
You have one strong cat.
ReplyDeleteFor sure. Especially when its time to put him in his carrier:)
DeleteAww what a cutie!
ReplyDeleteHe's a mini me of his daddy:)
DeleteGotta love Frank. A cat does what a cat wants to do. Your grandson is adorable. Just wait until he can dig up the irises! :-D
ReplyDeleteOh thanks for that thought, CJ:) Heh.
DeleteHi Sandra - we certainly learn what our pets can do ... the plants they like and then the brick walls they hate! Still he's obviously much loved as he's back on your bed ...
ReplyDeleteYour grandson looks delightful - congratulations to the family and what a lovely weekend that must have been - cheers Hilary
He is a pistol, but yes, we love him:)
DeleteThe Grand is a delight. Thanks, Hilary.
Cheers,
How weird can gets be?
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had a great time.
It was fun seeing the grands.
DeleteI am certain you love picking up your little grand baby. You Bee Balm is growing fast and can’t wait to see the blooms. Our flowers are finally looking good. Have a beautiful day
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like holding a baby is there?
DeleteYou'll have to post pictures of your flowers for us.
Did you give Frank a magic shovel for digging to China?
ReplyDeleteHeh. Did Bubba and Squirt have one?
DeleteYou certainly had a good weekend. Loved the pics and the post.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
Thanks, Yvonne;)
Deletegrandson is adorable; is he saying...oy, cubs....shoulda been two ??!!
ReplyDeletefrankie; dood...984 paws UP on de BEST esscape job EVER....just due knot wander two far frum home buddy !! ☺☺♥♥
That's exactly what he was saying! How did you know, FSG?:)
DeleteLuckily, he does stay close. We're in the process of checking out edging to put around the fence. Little dickens.
Bleubeard could get out of a locked back screen door. I even tied it with a hooked tie down, and he can still get out. If they set their minds to it, they will do it. Frankie included.
ReplyDeleteDarling grandson (?). He's a cutie, that's for sure. Looks like your weekend was far better than mine, especially when I lost power for nearly 24 hours.
That Bleubeard is an escape artist for sure.
DeleteYes, it's a boy. A mini-me of my son.
No power for 24 hrs??!! Ack. How are things now?
We thought about watching the Nationals while in DC, but didn't have the time.
ReplyDeleteThere's just so much to do in DC, isn't there, Adam?
DeleteYou raise strong cats up there in your neck of the woods! Really? Boy, Lizzie is such a woos by comparison!
ReplyDeleteLove your sweet one. You must be over the moon!
Aww … what a lovely way to spend your weekend.
ReplyDeleteHe is a cutie :)
All the best Jan
I love Frank! You must be feeding him some extra vitamins Sandra! LOL! Love seeing your garden! Beautiful! Your little one is so cute! Big Hugs! Thanks for the video!
