All things Western and more.
Washington was a clever man! Hugs, Valerie
News to me.And I wonder why he did it.
News to me too.
I knew about mules, just not that Washington was credited for the cross breeding.
I knew how mules were made but not that Washington did it. Must've had a lot of spare time after he retired.
I did not know that! And they Thomas Jefferson was an inventor!
Had no idea.
I did not know this.
Indeed.Hugs received and returned.
My understanding is he was very innovative about farming and wanted an animal best suited for work on the farm.
That was me too, until I started reading about Washington.
I believe he bred them before he became president.
Ole wooden toothy was quite the intelligent man and practical:)
He had his fingers in a lot of pies, for sure.
Surprised me too.
I didn't know before I started the biography either.
Actually, human teeth and ivory.
And yes, he was very intelligent and practical.
It was probably all that Mary Jane he was growing on his farm.
I did not know. I don't know so many things that I'm not even aware of all the stuff I don't know.Love,Janie
