Did you know that John Adams, our second president, was accepted to Harvard at age fifteen? At that time Harvard consisted of four brick buildings and a chapel.
Information gleaned from John Adams by David McCullough.
That's amazing. I love little squibs of history like this. It's hard to imagine, I guess, but probably all our great universities in the U.S. started out as small buildings, and many of them probably small "single" buildings.

No Sandra didn't know that but I visited Harvard whilst in Boston some years ago. Very imppressive.
Yvonnne.
No, you got me there, I didn't know it! Have a great day, hugs, Valerie
They obviously recognised the seeds of greatness.
Sure didn't waste any time
Wow! Didn't know that, and he must have been super smart. More great trivia! Hugs, RO
How it's grown.
Didn't know that.
I am catching up...how are you? Hope you are well and bless your sis in law. So this man could so outshine Trump in speech? Well, that doesn’t take much does it? 🤩
McCullough is such a good writer -- but I didn't know that one!
Wow, only 15!
I imagine colleges were simpler than we imagine back then.
Well said.
Heh.
Thanks, you too, Val.
Hugs received and returned.

YOU have a pleasant, productive evening. Hope you get in all kinds of writing time.
He is good.
I didn't know that either, Sandra. What I did know is, people at Harvard were terribly aloof.
And I didn't know about the aloofness. Thanks for sharing:)
:)
The tabbies are so smart:)
Have a great one, FSG.
Probably, Elizabeth:)
Glad you liked the squib:)
