As mentioned previously, they recently bought a 1913 row home and are in the middle of remodeling. As you can see the SIL has rebuilt the stairs.
Remodeled the bathroom and powder room. They have a projector, so the HH was able to watch the Bears Thanksgiving on the wall:)
AND...we had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner.
Pictures of Longwood Garden next week. How was your Thanksgiving? Were you home or did you travel?

Reflection caught! Good to hear you had a nice family time.
Welcome back. They have already been busy - and I love that a bookcase was a priority.
The house is looking great. Glad you had a fun Thanksgiving. That cake looks wonderful, too. Hugs, Valerie
Yes:) Thanks, Andrew.
Thank you. I like the bookcase priority too:)
I love their house. And the cake...best ever:) Brought some home.
Hugs received and returned.
Hi Sandra - the house looks amazing - clever SIL. Another cake = yay! While Thanksgiving looks fit to feed you all - lovely ... cheers Hilary
Sure fixing it up grand indeed. Geez, 4 cakes. Won't need a birthday for a few years now lol
Welcome back! Your husband scored big with cakes. I bet there's still a lot of remodeling to be done in that old house.
That home is going to be smashing when it is finished. It already is! And you had such a wonderful Thanksgiving -- just the way it should be (and home before the snow!). HH is rocking the birthday thing! He should! We stayed home for TG and all was well!
The renovations look fantastic, nice to be handy. Happy Birthday to hubby again.
Beautiful Thanksgiving and your daughter's home is lovely. I'm really loving the blue frame around the mirror.
It looks like you had a great Thanksgiving and the cake looks yummy. Any old home takes tons of work. Our home was built in 1912 and it always needs TLC. In honour of your Thanksgiving, I watched Planes, Trains and Automobiles.
Sounds like a lot of work.
Thanks, Hilary. The house, cake and Thanksgiving were all amazing:)
Ha. Won't need a birthday for a few years--4 to be exact. I love it:)
Oh yeah. It's an ongoing process. Reminds me of the movie Money Pit:)
And thanks for the welcome, Alex:)
I think it will be too, Jeanie:) We did have a wonderful Thanksgiving and he is rocking his bday.
Glad you had a good one.
Hugs
It saves a bundle if one can do their own renovations, doesn't it.
Thanks for the bday wishes for the HH.
Looks like you had a great Thanksgiving! And I love the set up of your new place!

I'm getting hungry.
That is one beautiful house! Love it.
Thanks, CJ. I love that frame too. It's got a lot of purple in it. I wish I could find towels that color.
Ha. I love it and was wishing I'd taken plane or train instead of automobile:)
Indeed, Adam.
We did indeed. Thanks, Nas.
Yes indeed:) Thanks:)
We brought butternut squash pie home for...just let me say, it wasn't for the kitties:)

He's amazing. I wish I could borrow him for projects around here:)
That cake was yummy:)
They've got lots of work ahead.
Lucky you. You got to share Cake 4 with HH. It looked delicious.
Wow, your SIL is talented. Great job on the remodel. That bath is fabulous.
