Monday-Tuesday

We're back! We spent Thanksgiving in Philly with the baby girl and her husband were the HH got cake #4. 😊 Homemade chocolate with chocolate mousse icing. It was delicious.
As mentioned previously, they recently bought a 1913 row home and are in the middle of remodeling. As you can see the SIL has rebuilt the stairs.
Added a built-in bookcase.
Remodeled the bathroom and powder room.
They have a projector, so the HH was able to watch the Bears Thanksgiving on the wall:)
AND...we had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner.
Pictures of Longwood Garden next week. How was your Thanksgiving? Were you home or did you travel?

Welcome back. They have already been busy - and I love that a bookcase was a priority.

Welcome back! Your husband scored big with cakes. I bet there's still a lot of remodeling to be done in that old house.

That home is going to be smashing when it is finished. It already is! And you had such a wonderful Thanksgiving -- just the way it should be (and home before the snow!). HH is rocking the birthday thing! He should! We stayed home for TG and all was well!

Beautiful Thanksgiving and your daughter's home is lovely. I'm really loving the blue frame around the mirror.

It looks like you had a great Thanksgiving and the cake looks yummy. Any old home takes tons of work. Our home was built in 1912 and it always needs TLC. In honour of your Thanksgiving, I watched Planes, Trains and Automobiles.

Sounds like a lot of work.

Ha. Won't need a birthday for a few years--4 to be exact. I love it:)

Oh yeah. It's an ongoing process. Reminds me of the movie Money Pit:)

And thanks for the welcome, Alex:)

I think it will be too, Jeanie:) We did have a wonderful Thanksgiving and he is rocking his bday.
Glad you had a good one.

It saves a bundle if one can do their own renovations, doesn't it.
Thanks for the bday wishes for the HH.

Thanks, CJ. I love that frame too. It's got a lot of purple in it. I wish I could find towels that color.

Ha. I love it and was wishing I'd taken plane or train instead of automobile:)
