Did You Know
Did you know, Benjamin Franklin was one of the first proponents of fresh air to fight colds and other 'corruptions' in the air? He and John Quincy were once traveling together and had to share a bed at an inn. Adams wanted the window closed and Franklin wanted it opened. Franklin coaxed him to open it by expounding on his theories of cold, air, perspiration and respiration. Adams was so entertained he fell asleep in spite of the open window.
Information gleaned from David McCullough's John Adams.

Hi Sandra - Benjamin Franklin was very forward thinking ... cheers Hilary
Lots of our forefathers were well ahead of their time.
How I wish the same was true of today's politicians.
Nope, I never knew that. Interesting! :)
You stay safe too, my friend.

Ben was one highly intelligent man with many facets. We always sleep with the window open

Good job on sleeping with the window open. Ben would be proud:)
For sure. I must have been getting too much cold air this morning, because I dreamt I was out in a blizzard:)
