Harriet Beecher Stowe had a home on Pleasant St. in S. Natick, Massachusetts. I grew up in Natick and used to ride my bike to the S. Natick Dam for picnics, across the street from the house. I don't ever recall visiting the house as I don't think at the time it was a place to tour. In 2014 the house was rented to a private school.

I most certainly did not. I didn't even know Twain didn't live along the Mississippi until last year. LOL
I didn't. I wonder whether they had anything to do with each other. If they did I would have loved to be a fly on that wall.
No, I didn't know that! Hugs, Valerie
I had NO idea, but I wonder if either of their works influenced the other.
I really didn't. Interesting! :)
Must have been one creative block
That's news to me Sandra, thanks for letting us know.
Take care.
Yvonne.

Me too! Can you imagine the conversations? "So, Harriet, have you worked past your writer's block?" Heh.
What? You mean he didn't??? Heh.
Your factoid for the day.
Never knew.
No but that had to be a fun neighborhood!
That's an interesting idea, Elizabeth.
Better than writers block. Oh wait it was a writers block. Ha.
My pleasure, Yvonne. Hope you are well.
That is interesting and had no idea. I wonder if they liked each other
Who'd a thought. Right?
I bet it was a hoot. Can you imagine leaning over the fence to chat with Mark Twain?
Another good question.
Interesting.
Glad you think so, Christine:)
I didn't know that.
No...I did not know that.
However, I do have a copy of "Uncle Tom's Cabin"...it has been presented to my late grandfather in 1904!
Yes....1904....
The book was given to him as a prize...he was still at school at the time.
I didn't know that, and a fascinating bit of trivia, Sper Sandra. Hope you and your family are safe and doing well. Hugs, RO
No, I didn't know that …
All the best Jan
Your Thursday factoid, Jan.
Wow. What a treasurer!
A factoid for the factoid finder:)
Why thank you, Rockin Ro. You stay safe too.
