It's Tuesday

Welcome Bloggers. We are quickly approaching Christmas. Got your shopping done? I am wrapped and ready to roll. Well, roll at home. We aren't going anywhere. I got a few early goodies, of which I'm very thankful.

In addition to the Hookup Fairy 😂, the HH gave me this lovely cardinal.

And Rocking Ro zeroed in our anniversary and sent us this.

And author and bud, D. L. Finn sent me a calendar with her written haikus and photographs.

And the cats got toys from their sitter.😊

How about these views? One of my sis in laws live in Colorado and took these pictures on her walks.

And we woke up to this last week, but luckily it didn't last.

And my spinach, blackberry salad.

And just because I think they are so darn cute.  Big sis reading to little brother.

Have you found delightful surprises in your mailbox? What's your weather like? What's your favorite salad? Do you have a beautiful view when you walk?

Nice photos. Are they moose? I am not sure about your salad. I would have to try it I guess.

NOT ready for Christmas. It will get here whether I am ready or not.
Love your gifts, and those views.
And would happily devour that salad.

Such nice gifts and beautiful photos. I'm ready for Christmas because we grocery shopped last night. Now I'm baking cookies to enjoy after our turkey dinner.

Love,
Janie

The cardinal ornament is just beautiful, and the kidlets and kittens are adorable.

What more could you ask, Sandra. What a treasure trove of gifts.

Your husband picked a gem for you with that beautiful cardinal. Leave it to RO! to come up with the perfect anniversary gift for you, too, dear.

Does that salad have nuts? It looks delicious. I'm not walking anywhere until this pandemic has been put to rest. I live on a busy street and might get run down by a fast moving car.

Merry Christmas and happy anniversary, dear Sandra. Now I feel bad I didn't get the cats any toys for Christmas.

I love seeing every single one of these photos! Big smiles here. I have a few surprises and shopping is done -- as much as it will be till we can celebrate with friends and family. No snow yet and that's fine with me. It could happen by Christmas! Happy week!

I love, love blackberries so much, so that's a salad I definitely need to try. HH has some pretty amazing taste in ornaments. I'm thinking he needs to hire himself out next year(lol) He has some serious skills. Very cool that the cats got such great gifts. Your sitter is on point for sure. I visited Colorado many years ago and loved it so much that I often thought of moving there, so these are wonderful memories. What a thoughtful gift from DL. Love to see young readers getting started so early to be writers and book lovers. I'm excited to see what your family gets you. Their gifts are always fun.(lol) Hugs and hugs, RO

We don't want you getting run over.
Merry Christmas to you, dear Elizabeth. We didn't get the critters anything either. It's a good thing their sitter came through:)

Te deseo un feliz aniversario. Mi ensalada favorita es choclo con arveja con mayonesa, jamón y queso. La vista que siempre veo es al volcan Guagua Pichincha y esta lloviendo.

I am not a fan of Waldorf but fruit is nearly always welcome.

My favourite salad is lettuce with all the extras...onions, red peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes topped with beets and goat cheese. I also love the creamy German potato salad my mom used to make. It is supposed to rain all day tomorrow, my Christmas Eve but change to snow at night and maybe snow Christmas Day...this yo yo weather is doing a number on all my joints. I wrapped most of the gifts except for the people we will “see” after Christmas. Now I must get in gear and buy some food.

Sandra Cox said...

Thank you:)
My mom used that salad or one similar.
Sounds like a beautiful view. Do you live near a volcano?

Sandra Cox said...

Minus the goat cheese your salad sounds delish and I love hot German potato salad.
Rain expected here too. Sorry it's playing havoc with your joints.
Happy Holidays, my friend.
