It's Tuesday

 Greetings, Blogger Buds.

Franky made a prison break and is now under house arrest. We go through this every few months. He paces the prison confines until he finds a weak spot then chews or digs his way out. His time 'on the outside' usually lasts about twenty minutes until me or the warden (the HH) hauls him back in, minus chains and manacles. From there he is incarcerated until the warden finds the weak spot and fixes it. Our prisoner really needs a little black cap and jacket.

Do you think he likes the tree because it's the closest he can get to the outside?

AND  My sister in her Ugly Christmas Sweater we got her:)

What about you? Brought out the Ugly Christmas Sweaters? Got your tree up? Gifts bought/made and wrapped?

Some animals put Houdini to shame don't they (and feel less than no shame about it).
Ugly sweaters? In this weather? Shudder.
Tree not up. Some gifts made. A few bought. None wrapped.

One tick out of four, presents bought.
I suggest you have committed sibling cruelty.
Franky is dreaming of what he saw outside.

I hope Franky hasn't, and doesn't, christen the tree! :)

Glad you found Franky and he's safely home again ... but I hope too he doesn't decide to climb the tree. Your sister's sweater looks wonderful ... all the best - Hilary

The way you tell a story is just so fun, and I always love it. What a fantastic tree, and yay to your sister for getting into the holiday spirit. I remember years ago wearing this long Christmas Cardigan sweater that everyone hated, but I adored. I wore that thing for pretty much every occasion during the holidays.(lol) Hugs and more hugs, RO

Franky has a wild man living in his heart--as do most dogs. Penelope has never tried to escape. Franklin ran the streets once, for about 20 minutes, and then returned. No ugly sweaters here, but the one in the photo is bad enough for everyone to enjoy. The tree is up. No gifts under it and there won't be because my sisters and I are donating to shelters this year.

Love,
Janie

Poor Frankie. I identify, since we are cooped up inside with Covid restrictions. (Although I approve of them. It's so necessary to put a freeze on Covid until vaccinations are available.) I think he's dreaming about what he saw outside, too.

Poor Franky. Ink liked hanging out under the Christmas tree because it was close to the heater and the low branches made a good hidey-hole. No ugly Christmas sweaters here. Waiting for the fairies (Fedex, UPS, USPS) to deliver gifts so they can be wrapped. Doing more online shopping now that Himself left the office. Two trees are up and one more to go.

I want a dog under my tree, too

I love that picture with your doggie resigned to the fact he must enjoy all the creature comforts. My hubby has an ugly sweater..well, it looks nice until you see what the deer are doing to each other. I have the tree up but no decorations on it yet. I put up my garlands and some Christmas decor. Today, the Santas will come out and more Christmas decor plus I shall start on the nativity and houses. The tree will be last but it will be decorated by the weekend...I hope. I placed your book on my Facebook page and hope you can see it and approve😁🌹.

Poor Franky. He looks SO resigned. Looks like your dog is enjoying his time next to the tree, though. Bleubeard is laughing because early on, he figured out how to get outside even though the back door was locked. I should have called him Houdini. Now that he no longer wants to go outside, he's content to give dirty looks to Squiggles.

LOVE the tree. Mine are out and I'm THINKING about finishing my gifts. I'm making all mine this year, except for Sally who is SO hard to please. I have a sweater MUCH uglier than your sister's. Hers is downright cute compared to mine. Stay safe and give Frank some loving behind the ears from me.

Franky, Franky, Franky. Yes, one of those striped "chain gang" suits (or an orange jumpsuit) would be fitting!

I'm behind but making progress. The house is looking pretty good and all is well! Is that a cat tree I spy? I like it!

Yes and definitely no shame.
Warm there, hey?
Not to worry you still have 17 days:)

One out of four isn't bad:)
Yes and planning his next escape:)

Oh, Franky. Doesn't he know he has a good gig at your place?!

Merry Christmas.

Thanks, Yvonne. And you.

Thanks, Hilary. We put bricks on the tree holder:)
I'm glad you like her sweater:)
YOU take special care.

Sandra Cox said...

Yup that pretty much sums him up:)

Sandra Cox said...

Thanks, Ro. Glad you had a fav sweater.
Received and returning everyone of those hugs.

The dog is good about staying put. It's the cat that has wanderlust:) I can see the confusion with the dog being front and center. I'm always assuming everyone knows Frank:) Aand yes I know what they say about assume. Grin. That's wonderful that you and the sis are donating to shelters this year.

Sandra Cox said...

I'm anxious for the vaccines to hit the market, aren't you?
The warden took care of the escape hatch, so Frank is back to his normal routine:)

Sandra Cox said...

Wow! Three trees. You are the woman!

Sandra Cox said...

I thought you had a dog. If not head for the shelter, oh Queen of Prehistory. Unless you live where you can't have them:(

Sandra Cox said...

Christmas decorating is a process isn't it?
Do you have a FB link, Birgit? I got hacked several years ago and stopped using it.
I really appreciate you posting for me. It's a good platform for getting the word out there.

Sandra Cox said...

I told Frank, the ear scratches were from you:)
Bleubeard is a very wise kitty.
I've started wrapping, but have a ways to go....
Stay safe. Be healthy.

Sandra Cox said...

Don't give him any ideas:)

Sandra Cox said...

Good job on making Christmas progress on the house:)
It's not a cat tree per se, but it does have a lot of cat ornaments on it:)

Sandra Cox said...

Thanks, Christine;)

We are in lock down again, so it will be a very quiet Christmas! Big Hugs!
