Did You Know

Did you know, that the yellow pollen that coats our cars is called Pine Pollen. Pine Pollen isn't the pollen that drives our allergies crazy. It's too large and heavy. Instead of drifting into our noses, it usually just falls to the ground. Of course, there're exceptions to every rule.

Yet another fact I didn't know Sandra. Thanks for sharing.
Take care.

Yvonne.

I did know that it was called Pine Pollen - here as well. Mind you, my allergies act up something shocking when the air is filled with it. Perhaps it is something else but when that heavy yellow dust goes I feel much better.

No, I didn't know that at all. I've been falsely accusing yellow pollen all these years! Have a great day.

Or falls all over my car.

Ahh yes that pollen can also stain our clothes and it’s a bugger to get it out.usually molds are the main culprit in the spring. My ex would go through a box of Kleenex. In an hour due to all the sneezing he went through

My pleasure, Yvonne;)

It's a super pain. I hate it!

Sandra Cox said...

It's got to have some sort of an affect, doesn't it, even if it's not considered one of the heavy hitting culprits?

Innit the truth.

This one was a bit of a surprise to me too.

Your allergy factoid, Jamie:)

Heh. I think we all have and I imagine some of that sly stuff does find its way into our nostrils.

Yup that's pollen for ya. It's just a pain isn't it, Birgit?

Yes and yes.

Not only did I not know that, I've never heard of Pine Pollen. Maybe we don't get it in this part of the country.

Thanks, bud. My theory, we should just all buy yellow cars and be done with it. Ha.

Probably not. You see it in the Midwest and are deluged with it in the South. No matter the color of your car, if it's outside during pollen season, it will be coated yellow.
