Did you know, a blue moon is a full moon with a bluish tint? It also refers to two full moons in a month and/or to the third full moon when there're four full moons in a season. And last but not least, to something rare. Whew.
I wondered why it was called this and now I know. Now I need to know about blood moon and the other moons. Well, I know about mooning and don’t need to know that.

For a change I did know. And love the moon.
I've seen blue moons but I've never seen a moon that is blue. Not even a slight tint.
Yup, knew that. It's also one of my favorite songs. Blue Moon by the Marcels (1961) Enjoy your day!
I did know it was for two full moons. I didn't know there could be three! Wow.

Interesting didnt think there was actualy a bluish tint.
Interesting. I thought it was the second full moon of a month. The bluish tint explains the name!
Phew! I didn't know that about the 3rd of 4 moons in a season. Thank goodness the meerkats are keeping us well informed. :-D
I didn't realize there was actually a moon event when the moon had a bluish tint. Amazing.
I knew the thing about two full moons but not the rest of it!
Yesssssssssssssssssss, I knew! Hugs, Valerie
I never fully understood what "once in a blue moon" refers to.
I think you'd need a high powered telescope to pick up on it.
Ha!
Yay, you. Yes, I love the moon too:)
I know. Right? It's very rare and has to do with atmospheric conditions.
Yay, you. Good song choice:)
