Writerly Wednesday

 What's your word for:


 Mine's: Worn-out. 

Actually, I think someone used knackered for their synonym awhile back.  As you can see, I liked it:)

AND

 


There were some great synonyms from last week and punnies:) If I had to pick a favorite, I think  it would be a tossup between off-kilter and kitty-corner.

I use knackered for worn-out/ground down. And sadly use it often.

I say whacked. I guess the word knackered comes from when exhausted horses were no longer able to do their job and were sent to a knackery.

When I'm knackered, I'm whipped. And when it's cattywampus, it's catty-cornered. We don't make kittens do the work ;) LOL
