All things Western and more.
Did you know, Solitaire was originally called Patience?
I did. And I still use the terms interchangeably.
Sorry - yes ... as EC mentions - it was probably better as a card game - way too wasteful on the dreaded screens! Cheers from a wet Thursday - Hilary
Nope, never knew that one.
No, I didn't know that. I help my mom play it all the time and play it myself sometimes. My mom has dementia, and she has to think to play it.
Jamie here (why is this still happening?): No, I didn't know this, but it sounds appropriate. It does take some patience.
I can understand why they changed the name. It's an easy game to cheat at because there's no one to call you out.
I had no idea uterus it makes sense
Good job! I'd read about the card game Patience in Regencies but I never connected it with Solitaire.
Good job, Hils! Wish we had some of that wet here.Cheers,
I'm so sorry to hear about your mom, Natalie. My mom had it too. Playing Solitaire is a fantastic idea.
Ack. I'm so sorry you are having this problem. For me, it comes down to browsers. One browser I can leave a comment as myself, the other, anonymous. It does take patience indeed.
