Did you know, Great Whites' livers are a delicacy for Orcas?
Hi Sandra - nope, I didn't know that ... or would expect me to know it!! Cheers Hilary
Not a delicacy that they would get easily. Or often.
What? Preferable to the liver of the superior species on the planet? Maybe that's a good thing.
Would that be considered cannibalism? One of those trivial questions I would NEVER have guessed, nor considered!
Orcas are one of their few threats. Sharks are also afraid of dolphins. Think the orcas like them with chianti?
See me with Big Eyed look...Lolol...nope, didn't realize that little factoid.hugsDonna
I didn't know! They are hunters though.
My husband read an article about that. How picky of them! Very hoity-toity!
Another piece of information that has escaped my attention for quite a long time!
I didn't but I'm not surprised. Orcas are bullies, man.
Did not know that! Kind of weird!
Yes, and I am a horrible human for wishing they ate all the sharks so I don't have to worry about swimming in the ocean, which I know is bad and that sharks are a very necessary part of the food chain, so good thing my thoughts don't effect the status quo on the high seas.
