Did You Know

 Did you know, decaf coffee is made by soaking the 'beans' in water to remove the caffeine?

I wonder if they have stopped using water and solvents, methylene chloride or ethyl acetate? Himself is a chemist and we were talking about decaf. They used to use formaldehyde, too. 😱

CJ, I think in one of the processes they still add the solvents, don't they? Formaldehyde? Ack. Ack. Ack.
