It's Ketch-up Day

How are you?

See the little bed beside Frank? It belongs in a cat house on the porch. And before you start snickering it really is a cat house, you know, like a dog house:) Anyhoo, Frank constantly pulls out the bed and drags it around, even tries to bring it in the house. I can't figure out if he thinks it's his blankie, his girlfriend or prey.

AND

Time for another calendar pictures installment:

That's it for me, folks. I'll be around to see what's going on in your corner of the world.

AND

No sign of grocery prices coming down yet..... AND speaking of which has anyone else given up sodie? I can't justify paying the meteoric rise in price for water, coloring, flavoring and carbonation so I've stopped drinking it. The HH, on the other hand, who is a soda guzzler just dropped down to generic sodie:)

Poor Frank. He just wants to be comfortable - where ever he is. You are sooooo cruel.

Hi Sandra - love the blue tit ... while perhaps another bed for Frank? As EC says he just wants to be comfortable ... perhaps he wants to be let in?! Food the same, thank goodness I never got into sodas ... so lots of water and wine reduction, sadly! Feeling better thankfully ... could do with a little more sun! Cheers and happy week - Hilary

Awww, Frank is so cute with his lovey. Himself and I gave up soda years ago. Now we only have it in the house for holiday/celebrations or when we go out to eat.

Cats are funny.
I have one soda a day and that's it. But more for health reasons than because of the prices.

He likes his comforts! He's like me...I take my pillow every time I travel!lol
We only order soda if we eat out, but not often. I only buy one bottle if I'm making Big Red Ice Cream.

Frankie is too funny! Drinking coffee is a good idea, always! prices are astronomical here, too. Butter has almost doubled in price, and there is now 200 grams instead of 250 in the package! Hugs, Valerie

Frank is so cute but I think he is letting you know that he desires to sleep in the much bigger house with his “blankie”. What a cutie. I love the evergreens quote. Don’t get me started on the prices of food and the rudeness of the Execs who let be known bo7t their record making profits they made last year. It’s a crime, in my opinion.

My new kitten drags all of her toys upstairs, then down. All day long, there is the thump-thump click of toys' wands on the steps.

I drink Great Value brand soda. Much cheaper. But it's gone up too, so I've switched to more coffee and tea throughout my day.

I have given up pepsi but still do ginger ale

We get Twists - they are only $2.50 a 6-pack and they are actually good for you. But you think you're getting a soda!

Frank looks quite besides himself.

I don't drink soda, but I love a good hot cup of black coffee.

EC, Uh Huh. Grin.
Hils, Oh yes, he definitely wants in. Then he wants out. Then he wants in. Then he wants out........
CJ, Good on you and himself giving up soda.
Alex, Cats are funny and good on you for watching the soda. One a day is what I was doing too, until the prices skyrocketed. There's absolutely nothing good for you in it, but it does sing its siren's song when its fresh, doesn't it? Sigh.
Donna, Heh:) Good on you for not ingesting a lot of soda.

Birgit, He always sleeps in the big house:) and he never sleeps with the blankie just drags it around. Go figure. I love the quote too:)
Elizabeth, Your kitten sounds like a hoot. Is this the black one or did you get another one? Or am I misremembering?
I was a Pepsi drinker too, Christine.
Good to know, Di.
Lon, You can't beat a good cup of coffee, can you?

I love that he has a cat house. We are building a catio for our new cat Kiki this spring that she can access through a window in the stairway. It will keep her safe but allow her to "explore", she's a sneaky one... I have to have a tracker on her collar in case she sneaks out. She sits in the house currently crying when they dog and I are outside.

Grocery prices are stupidly insane. Can't say that we've given anything up though. We generally gave up soda years ago. Now it's an occasional treat.

Anyhoo... here from EC's. I might just stick around. :)

Still drinking my Diet Coke -- but less of it! And I used to have a cat house too -- it's how Gypsy made his transition from feral to furever!

I love he drags his bed around, just in case. Never know when you'll need a nap. Thanks for sharing the calendar pic. That was a favorite. Luckily I don't drink soda anymore. Just water and tea. Hate the prices at grocery store though. I'll say I gave up on chips. Xo

I drink soda occasionally, I am a Pepsi and ginger ale drinker. The ginger ale I buy generic as it all tastes the same to me.

That is a cute story about the cat carrying around his bed. Maybe, he doesn't want anyone else using it?

Juli, I love the idea of a catio off your stairway, how fun. And good on you for the tracker. I'm glad you stopped by and might be sticking around;)

Jeanie, I'm so glad you and Gypsy found each other and had time together.
Denise, Woot. Woot. On giving up soda. Thank YOU for sharing the calendar and your prose and photography in it;)
True, LOL. Now there's a thought as to why he carries it around;)
