Not much going on here except.....
We are going to be getting a new addition to the family after Thanksgiving.
Meet Dori.
She was dumped out in the country and found her way to our friend's house.
No bigger than she is, I think Frank could take her:)
After Penny, I wasn't in a big hurry to get another dog, but she ticks all the boxes. Mainly, she gets along with cats, doesn't bark, is housebroken and laid back. The HH is naming her Nori after one of the characters in Rings of Power. She looks like a Nori, doesn't she?
Excuse the mess. My only excuse is that the plant is on top of the bookcase where I can't reach it. I just held my camera over my head and took the shot. That's my story and I'm sticking to it:)
What's going on in your corner of the world?

Love your Christmas cactus - which are similar to but different from the ones I featured on my Sunday Selections post.
Nori looks like a sweetie = and Frank will keep her in line.
Not much happening here this week - which is excellent.
Nori is a great name. Already housebroken, doesn't bark, and likes cats? It was meant to be.
Seems like it was meant to be.
Aww, Nori is very cute.
She does look like a Nori and she's adorable! Three cheers! (And your check and note arrived yesterday. Thanks, Sandra!)
Agree--Nori is cute.
Congrats on Nori, Sandra :) She is a cutie! I am waiting for that perfect pup to find us if we are meant to have more dogs. Love the cats and Insee no mess there! Xo
Nori is so cute. And it's great that she checks off all your boxes for an addition to your family.
Jeanie, Thank YOU. Love the cards.
EC, Love YOUR Christmas Cactus;) Not much happening is indeed excellent;)
My thoughts too, Alex:)
It does, doesn't it, David.
Glad you could take Dori
How can people be so cruel but, then again, that's how we got all our dogs and cats when I lived in the country. He is cute..I'd keep him for sure. I will write a blog post this Friday on what has happened in my neck of the woods. My husband is gutted and I tried to tk keep strong g but I now have a cold. Hopefully, it won't get worse. It involves the ivy fence my husband reated from 20 bought ivy vines.
Me gusto la primera imagen y tu perrita es muy linda. M e gusta su nombre. Te mando un beso.
Thanks, Jamie:)
Thanks, CJ:)
Denise, Completely agree on a puppy finding you:) s.c ox
Nori, like sushi seaweed wrap. I'm sure she will be lovely.
Natalie, We'll see how it goes.
Christine, It will be interesting for a few weeks, won't it?
Birgit, I'm anxious to hear what's going on. Sorry to hear about your cold. We're coming off one that had a three week duration.
Thanks, JP. Sending you a hug.
Thanks, Andrew. I trust so:)

Hils, She was extremely lucky to find our friends. I trust it will be a smooth landing at our house, but it will probably take a little bit. Christmas cacti are amazing:) Cheers,
