Ketch-Up Day

     How are things?
We've had critter drama here. The HH got Nori (the dog) a toy that made really strange noises that Frank took exception to, associated them with Nori and started whaling on her. At that point Nori started making strange noises. I got Frank and Nori separated then Nori started peeing all over the floor, whether in fear or submission to Frank, I have no idea. At that point, I wasn't happy either. Needless to say, Nori is back in diapers.
The next day, Calli took a page from Frank's book and started swatting Nori.
Now that the pecking order has been established things have settled down.

Hi Sandra - I'm glad you've eased the critters' dilemmas. World Cancer Day - we all need to remember ... all the best - Hilary

Sorry the cats started attacking each other. Especially over a toy.

Yes, cats can behave out of character when their home lives are disturbed. The pecking order is now established.

The biggest cancer of all is your government right now, a self- inflicted malignant tumour on the nation.

Aw, poor Nori. I hope things have settled down.

We do for sure, Hils. Cheers

My bad. I wasn't clear on that at all. Nori is the dog.

There was something about that sound that really freaked Frank out. It was like a fight or flight response.

Exactly:)

Thanks, CJ. They have.

Sorry about Nori.

And that is why I haven't brought a new cat into Lizzie's life. I hope Nori and the cats come to terms. Yikes.

Both of our cats have been stirred and Rocket is attacking Star. We've been through this before and our vet says it's due to cats in heat outside disrupting our cats' interactions. We just try to maintain the peace. Feliway helps.

Glad the pets figured it all out, but what a way to do it. Happy February xo

Thanks, Christine.

Hi Jeanie, They normally are. It was a fluke. A very weird fluke.

J.P. Sending you a hug.

Di, Thanks for the tip on Feliway. Hope things are and stay calm on your end too.

Sandra Cox said...

Birgit, Yeah. It wasn't pretty. Everything is back to normal now. Whew.

Indeed. And happy February to you, my friend.
