FSG, Heh;)
Good job and good gracious. That's a mouthful;)
Fled the scene. Best not to unnecessarily use long words half the people won't understand.
I knew about the bark, and our indigenous population had their own pain killing barks.
Te mando un beso.
I wish you know who would absquatulate the hell out of here. I’ll keep my pain killers over knowing on tree bark.
I'm not sure I can pronounce that word right. I did know about willow bark though. Xo
The indigenous people knew that willow bark was a form of analgesic and they shared their knowledge with white settlers. Just as they shared much else. What did they receive in return? Disease, hostility, persecution and death. Those same settlers absquatulated with everything the Native People cherished, but most of all their dignity. Some called it American Exceptionalism.
After the Tylenol talk of this week, I wonder how many people will be seeking out willow bark again. Ugh.
Good job, Andrew. I agree with you on long words, but they are fun:)
Thanks and sending you hugs, JP.
Ha. Good ones, Birgit:)
