Ketch-Up Day

How are you? How goes your week? I saw my first Swallowtail this week. If Spring isn't here, it's arriving shortly.

Soon, CJ. Soon.

Do you know, what kind of steak this is?  Here's a hint....It's not beef:)

 AND

The violets are up.  I love them but I didn't realize how invasive they are.  They are making a grab to take over the garden.

AND

The HH got me an Easter dishtowel:) Move over Easter bunny, the Easter kitties are coming to town.

AND

Now the answer to your quizz:) It's a watermelon radish steak.  This is a pic of it before it was cooked.

That's it for now, Blogger Buds.  Ever had Watermelon Radish Steak OR Watermelon Steak? Have violets up? Got your Easter decorations out? I blush to admit I don't and times flying.....Have a grand one.

I thought it was maybe a vegetable protein kind of steak. Raddish? No thanks.

Don't think I have seen a butterfly yet and I never would've guessed watermelon radish.

My guess was tuna. I certainly would never have guessed watermelon radish. In fact, I had not heard of watermelon radish. The things we do learn on your blog, Sandra!

Spring can't come soon enough. We had more snow flurries this morning. 😿I love violets. Yes, they take over everything, but they are so pretty. I have never heard of a watermelon radish. I love your Easter Kitties dish towel. Your Hubby is a keeper.

Never had that type of steak :) I love violets and would mind them taking over garden. We have St John Wart doing that here. Love that towel! Yes have my Easter decorations up, much less than Christmas so easier to do...lol

Andrew, It is kind of a vegetable protein steak:) I'll have to taste one before I make a decision as to whether I like them grilled or not. Since my daughter fixed it, I'm thinking I'd like it:)

Alex, So far I've only seen the one butterfly.
IE, the watermelon radish. I wouldn't have either. Looks like meat to me. It also looks exactly like watermelon steaks, which I didn't know about till I looked them up.

David, Tuna is a great guess. Watermelon radishes are so pretty. They are marked like miniature watermelons;)

Well, I flunked the steak quiz but oh, how I love that towel!

Natalie, It does look good, doesn't it?

Jamie, Isn't that the cutest?;)

CJ, No. No more misery flakes....Violets are pretty, but they sure like to cozy up to my flowers. The dish towel is currently my favorite. I've kept the hubby for 49 years now:)

I haven't either, Denise:) St. John's wort is pretty:) Good on you for having your decos up. If I don't get mine soon, Easter will have come and gone:) Take care of yourself. xo

It sure does, Christine. Also looks like Watermelon Steak.

I'm glad you like the towel:) It was a new substitute for me too, Di:)

Thanks, Linda;)

Jeanie, If I hadn't been specifically told what that was, I wouldn't have guessed it in a million years.
The HH did good, didn't he?;)
Heading to your place.

I thought it was a salmon or tuna steak. I never would have thought a watermelon type steak. That’s just wild and never even heard of it. It is wild to think of ll the foods out there I never even tried. We have no flowers here yet and I am shocked that you have seen a butterfly. That’s really cool.
