Ketch-Up Day

How was your weekend and how is your week going?

We're doing fine on this end.

My blackberries are ripening.   I'm so excited.

 AND

We met a couple of buds at Village Inn for lunch.  Yum.  Have you ever been to one?  They have a pizza buffet, a salad bar, soup, drinks and dessert.  Very tasty and very reasonably priced.

I drive an '03 Mustang and one of the buds gave me this:

 Simple pleasures:)

AND

A few Eternal Garden pics.

Froggy fighting his way through the garden forest:)

That's it for now, Blogger Buds.  What's going on in your neck of the woods?

Have an excellent week.

I am sure you are the perfect model for the tee shirt, Sandra. I will look forward to pictures of you draped over the hood, femme fatale look primed and ready - stuff like that. Don’t keep us in suspense!

Gorgeous flowers and those berries look luscious. I had a '79 Mustang. The first year it was renamed Mustang from Mustang II. I loved that car.

Beautiful flowers. And my blackberries have gone crazy! Finally had to put a batch in the freezer and I still have bags from last year...

It was for sure, Alex. And the ones out of the blue are so much fun.

Thanks, CJ;)
Every girl should have a Mustang at some point in her life. And a 79. Very cool. I've had my pony 23 years now.

Thank you so much, Natalie.

Thanks, Jeanie. Hope you had all kinds of fun. Heading your way.

Very cool on your blackberries. You may have to start baking pies or making jam:)

I miss my blackberry bush. It was killed when my neighbor put up a fence. Yours are beautiful.

What a fabulous tee shirt. You will wear it proudly.

Awesome flowers. Your garden must be awash with color and wonderful scents.

I was off last week as it was my birthday. I took it easy and had friends over. I went to Niagara on the Lake, a beautiful town with a fort from 1812 and many picturesque shops. Many buildings are from the 1700s plus we have the famous Shaw festival theaters too.
I lovevthe blue hydrangea and your frog

Very nice flowers and I LOOOOVE the black berries. Berries in general, once I start eating them, I can't make myself stop.

I'm so sorry your blackberry bush is gone. Right now, I'm warring with the squirrels. They are upset with me about something and pulling the berries off the bush and throwing them on the ground. Twirps.
Thanks, dear Elizabeth. The tee was an awesome surprise.
The garden is holding its own, but it sure would like some more rain. What's your weather like?

Sending you hugs, JP:)

Thank you, Andrew. I'm enjoying the blackberries:)
Ha on the rev head:) I've been driving the pony for 23 years now:)

Just picked up 4 packs at ALDI yesterday. A buck fifty per pack. I already ate one. Gonna be hard for me to save them for pie as I'd planned. Would love to hear about you growing them next year. Sounds like my kinda jam.
