Ketch-Up Day

How are you, friends?

I had some wonderful news.  A friend of mine who has been waiting for a kidney forever finally got it.  I'm so excited.

We've had another couple of inches of rain and still the drought restrictions haven't been lifted.

AND

The butterflies are back and a little hummer has been hanging around.  I'm not even going to try to get his picture:)

AND

While the outside flowers are still struggling from a rough summer, my little indoor garden is flourishing and is just about to shoot past the light. Not sure what will happen then.

AND

From California

Thanks, Denise:)

Someone mentioned the other day, they would like to see Robert Duvall doing the tango:

That's it for today, Blogger Buds. Ketch me up on what's going on with you.

It is good news for sure, Jan. Glad you enjoyed watching Robert Duvall tango. Didn't he seem like someone you'd like to know?

Pacino danced a romantic tango in Scent of a Woman. It was so smooth and sensual. One of my favorite videos to watch. Love listening to Dance me to the End of Time by Leonard Cohen. Gee it
must be this hot weather it has me thinking of steamy stuff. lol

Firstly, I am so happy your friend will get her new kidney. To wait years for this must have been frustrating. I think I might have been the one to want to see Duvall dance the Tango…if he was on DWTS, I would be saying he’s a bit stiff and he sticks his bum out, but he was in his 80s in this piece so I will give him some slack..lol
We just came back from Quebec and our city is in a state of Emergency due to the amount of rain we received in 1 week …something like 268mm. Many people have lost everything that was in their basements. Thankfully, my hubby dug and placed the eavestroughs away from the house so our basement is aok. The mayor took out a plea for help while standing in his basement, full of water. The fields in Niagara On The Lake were full of water so no idea how the grapes will be. It would be great if less rain happened here and more in your area. I love your pics as always..
