Hi dear Sandra, your posts are always fascinating, enjoyable and educational, too! I had no idea that Barbie had a full name, either! As far as thunderstroke goes...I have used the term thunderstruck before....I always learn new things from your posts! Thank you so much for sharing.
Instead of thunderstroke, I'd use lightning or thunderstorm. I knew Barbie's name. I think they mentioned it in the Barbie movie. Ruth Handler, who created Barbie, used the name Barbie for her daughter, Barbara, and Millicent Roberts was intended to make Barbie seem all-American.
Thank you so much, dear Linda. I'm glad you enjoyed the post. Thunderstruck is definitely more familiar, isn't it? I think Thunderstroke would be a great name for a Western:) Take care.
Ooh, I like the word thunderstrike. Barbie doesn't look too much like a Millicent, does she? But I like the idea that its just a normal, non-cutsie name:)

I would say thunderstrike. I've never heard of thunderstroke.
I had no idea Barbie had a full name. Millicent seems a bit weird for Barbie.
Yes, I knew that about Barbie. I found it out sometime before the movie, though I don't know where or when.
Hi Sandra - didn't know Barbie's full name. Thunderstroke might be the name of the game if I had of known Barbie's names! Cheers Hilary
Barbie's full name! Interesting.

I think I knew Barbie's middle name was Millicent, but had forgotten. I never knew her last name.
Like several others, I had NO idea Barbie had a middle and last name. I was thunderstroke to learn about it.
Heh. Good job, Donna:)

Heh. Have a lovey one, Hils.
Two thumbs up, Janie:)
Thanks, JP. Sending you a hug,
Good job on knowing her middle name, Elizabeth:)
Thumbs up on your use of thunderstroke, Elizabeth. Loved it:)
I keep thinking of the AC/DC song, “ Thunderstruck” . Lol… never hide under a Tree if there is a thunder stroke. I had no idea Barbie had a full name.
Excellent example of thunderstroke, Birgit. And so true:)
That is a fabulous word! And yes, I DID know that about Barbie but I don't know how!
