Ketch-Up Day

How are you?

Same ole. Same ole here.  The HH hasn't won the lottery and I haven't hit the NY Times Best Seller list yet. Ha.

Sadly, the Swallowtails are dying off.  I see bits and pieces of wings in the yard. I have no idea about their life cycles. That's probably something David could help us with.  A little hummer moth has been hanging out at one of the butterfly bushes. I love to watch him.  Have you ever seen them? They're like little miniature hummers. AND. A monarch stopped by today. That was exciting. I haven't seen one in forever.

I managed to get a few shots of both.

AND

The HH and I are both entranced by the casing of the hibiscus's flower.  Okay, entranced might be too strong a term for the HH's interest. But he did ask about it:)

I can't believe the white Irises are still blooming. The poor things are so confused. Nonetheless, I'm enjoying them.

And froggy continues to hold his own against the encroaching Asian Jasmine.
That's it for now, Blogger Buds. What's going on in your neck of the woods.

Ketch-up Day

AND In the Garden

The fox, the HH got me, has his eye on my rooster.

My white Iris has decide to bloom in July.

A leaf from my daughter's basil plant.

What's growing in your garden, blogger buds?

Ketch-Up Day

What's going on in your neck of the woods?

Same ole, same ole here. Take care of critters. Write. Garden. Repeat.

And speaking of

The Garden:

My special needs Irises:) See how low to the ground some of them are blooming?

The fairy was from the Easter Bunny:)

The Critter

And last but not least

From Colorado

Thanks, Julie.

Tuesday

Today's question: If you are a  state governor and a sheriff publicly refuses to enforce your mandates, how do you handle it?
AND...
Expandable, Flexible Garden Hoses.
Has anyone tried or have these? I love mine. It's so light and easy to manage. The old standard hose I had filled up the whole bowl and hung over it once it had kinks in it. This one covers the same length of the garden, the old one did.  I recommend it for anyone who has to haul a garden hose around.
AND...
Looky. Looky.
My first Iris to bloom in July.  Most of my Irises are standard bloomers. I didn't even know this Iris was a rebloomer. I'm so excited:)
AND...
The hostas are blooming.
That's it for me. Got blooms? An opinion on ignoring governor mandates?

Tuesday

You may have already seen this trailer. I saw it for the first time at Janie Junebug's and loved it. Hope you do too.

AND...
My first Iris to bloom this spring. And it just happens to be the one my daughter and SIL gave me for Mother's Day last year.

AND...The trees are blooming.
AND...
I saw in the writing community, some authors were giving away book reads to offset the stay-at-homes and folks who have lost their means of income. I thought this was a great idea and I'm jumping on the bandwagon. Apologies in advance for the areas where it's not offered as a freebie.

What's going on at your place? Trees blooming? Irises? Stay safe. Stay healthy.
