Ketch-up Day

How are you? How is your week going?

Okay, I'm going to start out with playing the blatant grandparent bragging card:)  The eleven-year-olds participated in an entrepreneurship camp last week at ECU. They were some of the youngest members there, most of the participants being high school students.  They had to develop an idea for a product, create a proposal and make a presentation.  The winner getting a thousand dollars.  The little girl won  😀 The HH and I are so thrilled. (I was also pleased with her brother's proposal. I thought it was a good one:)

AND

I finished my latest garden project: get rid of the grass and weeds around the grapevine and lay down mulch and pavers.

Let me tell ya, it was hard to get out of this chair, lots of obstacles in my way, but I managed:)

 AND

Beautiful Canada.

Thank you, Ralph.

That's it from here. What's going on in your neck of the woods, friends?

Ketch-Up Day

How are you?

Not a lot going on here, at least on the exciting scale:)

I sent the HH out for a kitchen sponge and this is what he brought back. I thought the smile was just for 'cute' factor, but the eyes are for putting your fingers in if you need to swish the sponge down into a glass and the mouth is for cleaning silverware.  Have you ever seen, had or used one?

AND the Eternal Garden pics.

For me the four seasons are: daffodil season, iris season, day lily season and mum season. Right now my garden is between seasons:)

So far the little grape vine is doing fine.

My current project: widening my garden walkway:) If you look closely, you can see I've got more potatoes growing from the mulch bin again this year;) Well, maybe you can't.

These sneaky roses escaped through and over the fence:)

Well, that's it, blogger buds.  Have a great week and let me know how you're doing.

Ketch-Up Day

How are you?

As you can see, it's another 'not-much-going-on-here week.'

It rained all day Saturday. It makes the flowers happy so I don't complain...until I have to mow:)

My amaryllis:

The HH gave me a grapevine for an early Mother's Day. It was bare roots, which I'm not a huge fan of. But this guy seems to be doing well.

Last year he gave me a blackberry bush.

Do you have blackberry bushes or grapevines?

AND

May calendar pics.

AND

From California

Thanks, Denise

That's all for today.
