It's Monday and Captcha

Yup, it's Monday. Didn't do too much here. Still unpacking boxes and editing. What about you?

I've got a question. How do you turn off Captcha?  I believe when blogger updated they made it automatic, but since some of the blogster buds don't have Captcha  there must be a way to get rid of it. I've just been ignoring it when I make my comments and that seems to work. Is that what you do?

You have to set comments up as embedded to get rid of that crap.

that captcha appears only at those blogs who have comments section opening in a separate window. Embedded ones don't have that. It's among the settings.

Don't you just have to set the word verifcation in comment settings to No?

I love your kitty photos, Sandra. Now that I have one, I totally get them=)
I have no clue about captcha, sorry my friend!

It's in the comments section of blogger settings :) I've turned mine on and off in the past when spamming has gotten worse/better. It's just a little box to click. And it has nothing to do with the pop of box or embedding--you can use it on either. Good luck!

I can't remember how I turned mine off but plenty of people here have informed you:) Love the cat!

Pat and Dez, Thank you. Thank you. That did it!

HI CJ, Used to be able to, but since its been revamped that doesn't/didn't work with mine. I kept mine set on no, didn't make any difference.

Hey Birgit, Yes, they got me straightened out. That kitty's a hoot isn't he.

Funny kitty! I hope the unpacking goes okay. That's never much fun...

It must've been in a recent update. Embedded is annoying, but word verification is worse.

I'm plotting, but winding down for Christmas.
Blogger is a pain to comment on at present. I hate their tweaks.

What an adorable kitty! Oh, but I miss having a kitty around. Think Meredith said the captcha bit best. Thanks for the follow. Happy to follow you back!

Hi Stephanie, How are you?
The unpacking is a work in progress. grin.

I agree, Alex. My only problem with embedded now is that I have to go back and forth between my blog and comments when I go elsewhere, instead of just popping on the bar at the top. Oh well, can't have everything.

That pretty well sums it up for me too, Shelley, on all fronts.

Hey, Kittie. So glad you stopped by. And thanks for the follow. Hope you're getting settled in.

Looks as if plenty of people have given you the correct answer. I hate proving I'm not a robot.
