I read your link to the article on the tortoise. That's amazing. Can you imagine finding a beloved pet in your storage space 30 years later alive and well??? It boggles the mind.
I had a friend who swore his pet turtle ran away. He said he'd left the back door open accidentally and when he came back, the turtle was gone. I suspect that turtle is probably lost in that house! Turtles can't move fast enough to get away.
I still have to see one Hunger Games film-I have no idea why i am not attracted to it. As for the tortoise-I am amazed that he is still alive and I hope gets the medical treatment he needs and then all the food he wants. I think those bandaids are cute
The books motivated me to see the movies. Even the hubby enjoys the movies, which is saying something. That is one tough tortoise. I got a kick out of the band aids;)
I agree with you, Steph. I don't see a turtle, 'running' away. I was listening to a talk show a few years ago and the family's baby alligator disappeared. The plumber found it under the house a few years later.....
I am both looking forward to and dreading part II. It's going to be dark. Did you like Jurassic Park. That tortoise has had a strange 30 years. Let me know if you get any kitty band aids:)

Really! Surviving on termites? Ick.
Band-Aids for kittens?
Just did a search. Bandages shaped like kittens. Cute! They even had pickle bandages.
Think of all the turtle crap that would be built up after 30 years, ewww
I'm sure they have band aids for kittens but these are band aids shaped like kittens for people.

I saw the Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part II trailer before Jurassic World. It was awesome. That poor, poor tortoise! And I need those bandaids!

:( Poor tortoise!
Can I just say how cute those kitten bandages are??
I've never seen any of them. I just can't muster up the interest.
I first thought you were talking about the band aids and thought, I bet Ivy would like the pickle band aids. My bad.
Hi Anna,
How are you? Aren't those band aids great?
We'll probably both be wearing them like tattoos:) Grin.

I can't imagine that poor turtle being there all those years. And then nearly ending up in the trash. Yikes.
