When I was a child, a friend and I found an owl that had a broken wing. We started to nurse it back to health, when, to our surprise, a crow (which I learned is a natural enemy of the owl) came in and befriended the owl. Our small town newspaper, possibly in need of a good human interest story that week, came out, took photos and wrote a great article on it. The two lived together for years, and were never separated. I was 12 at the time, and I was in high school before the crow died and the owl mysteriously moved away.
It goes to show there is no prejudice in the animal kingdom. Only natural instincts. Thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Isn't that adorable, Sandra? We often think of cats as aloof, but that mama cat gave the little bunny a forever home as part of her family. Thanks for sharing that inspiring video, dear friend Sandra!
This is so very sweet and makes me feel better about the world. Humans can be so nasty but look at how many humans love seeing these clips and reading about them. Bless the pussy cat
I think animals are sometimes a lot more human than many people. Hugs, Valerie
