IWSG Wednesday

insecurewriterssupportgroup.com

The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day. We post our thoughts, talk about our doubts and the fears we have conquered, and our struggles and triumphs. Hopefully we offer a word of encouragement for others who are struggling.
So to all the buds out there, keep those fingers firmly planted on the keyboard...we're going to make it.
I'm still on a cover binge.  I'm slowly getting rights back on my older books and self-publishing. Right now I'm trying KDP select.  We'll see.  What I need to be doing is a newsletter. But for whatever reason, I just don't wanna.  And speaking of newsletters, kudos to Chrys Fey for taking responsibility for an IWSG newsletter. Chrys and Anna if I take the plunge I may need your expertise.
But back to my binge.  These are my projects:

And Speaking of Covers.....

I like the new ones!
I should have done a newsletter, but oh well. Always wanted one for the IWSG though and glad we could acquire Chrys to do it.
And really glad your story made it into the anthology. Rainers was one of my favorite.

Wow, you have so many projects in the work! The covers are great.

As for newsletters, I started one last year. I only send it out roughly four times a year, but I do think it's been helpful with sales.

I'm anxious to read the stories too, EC. I believe it's coming out this spring, so it won't be too much longer.

LOL! I love the kitty covers! And you're so sweet. I'm going to need to take notes from you. You are a writing machine. I need to keep that daily practice going as well, so I can reach a more fluid state with my own writing. <3 Big hugs!

Great new covers indeed, and yeah, ugg to the newsletter, can't bring myself to do that either.

I like the new covers. Fleshes our your kitties with a softer look and updates Moon Watchers a lot. Congrats again on making the anthology. Can't wait to read :)

Great job on the new covers. It must be exciting and a little stressful to be going the self pubbed route.

Sandra Cox said...

Thanks, Sherry:)
Heading over to your place:)

Thanks, Dez! Always appreciate your feedback.

I think your 'writing throws' are difficult for you because you put so much of yourself into it, but conversely it gives your writing a lot of heart and crispness.

Sandra Cox said...

I'm going to shoot for it this year, but I use any little excuse to stop working on it. I don't even have mail chimp set up:(

Sandra Cox said...

Thanks, Sharon!

Sandra Cox said...

Hi Susan,
Yup, that pretty much sums it up:)

Nice Covers. Congrats on getting your rights back and good luck with your new journey in self publishing. I will be going that route too or maybe both when I get there. Happy Belated IWSG Day
