Baby Bluebirds, Money Monster and a Ninety-nine Center

After all the hoopla over this bird house (see below), both parties decided they didn't want it. Yup just like humans.
The bluebirds moved into what CJ so aptly described as the Frank Lloyd Wright(Ha.Ha) house. (See below).
Well there's all kinds of activity this week. Both mama and papa are flying in and out with birdie food, so I've got to believe the happy day has arrived, congratulations are in order, and Mr. and Mrs. Bluebird are now proud parents. I can't wait to see those little heads popping out:)

save the kitten left behind.
We went to see Money Monster over the weekend. A thumbs up movie.
Roberts, Clooney and the entire cast delivered.
We have lots of birds but none nesting. Considering killdeer nested in the middle of our lawn last year, I'd rather they found a new spot. We had to mow around them for over a month.
Great that the birds have chosen their home an are nesting, the tits (chickadees) are nesting in the tree in front of my window, and they are LOUD! Have a great day, hugs, Valerie
We used to have bird houses in North Carolina. One year we had Prothonotaries nesting. The next year, there was a big punch up between them and the bluebirds. The bluebirds won and we never saw the prothonotaries again. Sad. I do miss being able to have bird houses and feeders.
I have fun watching bluebirds grow and leave the nest.I am short a few families with swallows and wren moving into vacant houses, but they are fun also.
When it comes to birdhouses, it all boils down to this:
"location, location, location." :)
My dad built a deluxe birdhouse designed specifically for the Purple Martin but the only inhabitants were common sparrows.
I watched the trailer for Money Monster and it looks like a tense, suspenseful thriller - my kind of movie. Mrs. Shady and I both like Jodie Foster. The problem is that I don't like Julia Roberts and Mrs. Shady doesn't like Geo. Clooney. However, I love films about the broadcast media because I was part of that world for so many years. Therefore I am adding Money Monster to my watch list.
Jealous of your blue birds!!! I've only ever caught maybe 3 half-second glimpses of them in all my years of birding. If spring ever arrives, I'm planning on hanging a ton of hummingbirds feeders outside.
I'm glad the bluebirds are happy in their nice little abode. The book actually sounds so good but how sad. I am not entirely sold on Money Monster but will see it when we can rent it.....yes I still rent:)
Near the coast between Morehead City and Swansboro. Lovely part of the world.I am very fond of prothonotaries and was not happy when the bb chased it away.
That's funny that you don't like Julia and Mrs. Shady doesn't like George. I like them both. Clooney did a movie in our area several years ago. I was told by one of the walk ons that he's very respectful of women. And that the meals were provided, and the men couldn't go through the line until all the women had.
It was intense, Steph. One of those movies that builds and builds, and by the end of it you're on the edge of your seat. Ha. Yes, the bluebirds are having their adventures:)
It is a little like giving a baby a gift and they find the box it arrived in far more interesting than the gift. I hope there are photos when the little ones appear.

That is so funny about the birds! LOL! The robins around our house are going nuts! They are fighting with everyone and making nests everywhere! LOL! We have one on our front door and one near our back door! LOL! Hugs!
Fascintated by the bird talk. I don't get much opportunity to watch but do appreciate the artistry that birds present. A neighbor is an exotic bird breeder and now is the time of year is older birds hang out in his yard.
I had put "Money Monster" on my list of interested to see. I don't make it to the theater very much. I may make the effort. Thank you for the thumbs up review. :-)
