Oh, how sweet! I love hearing good stories as opposed to all the negative news. That police officer had a soft spot for puppies.

Beautiful puppy, I can see why he took such good care of it. I bet the little sport would have loved to been his dog.

Hi Debby,
It's a police story I was happy to see:)

It is truly lovely to see a 'nice' police story. Thank you. And him.

My son is such a sweetheart that he'll pick up stray dogs, get them medical care, and find homes for them. He has two dogs of his own. One belonged to a former girlfriend, and the other was one of the strays he found. The stray had a microchip, but the people never registered it so he couldn't return the dog. The pup seems quite happy to live with my son, and the microchip is now registered in my son's name.

Love,
Janie

Great to see the police in a good light indeed, and a puppy to boot.

Sometimes, there's situations you just can't walk away from.

Good for your son! I bet a rescue group would love to scoop him up.

My mother goes into a panic if she ever sees a dog on its own. She is always convinced it has been abandoned. That was a nice story. I wonder if he is as kind to humans?

After all the negativity about police brutality and the police killings we have seen this past week in the US, it was great to see one that had a positive spin to it. Good for you for finding it. It is just the positive attitude we need right now.
