Into Everything

As you can see, the kitten is still into everything, including the dishwasher.  A few nights ago I couldn't sleep so I got up and did some writing. About the time I was ready to go back to bed I heard a faint mewing. I went into the kitchen. No kitten.  I checked the pantry.  No kitten. I checked the bathroom.  Hmm, hear him, don't see him. Opened the linen closet.  Yup there he was. Since the HH and I went to bed at different times, it's unclear if he was in there for a few hours or half the night.

Look what I won from March House.  Barbara was kind enough to send this to me from the UK.
Thanks, Barbara!

Love your prize.
And hear you on the 'into everything' feline front. Particularly the places/things I would prefer were cat free. Silly me. Cats rule.

Awww!! So cute! I love baby kittens! I currently have 3 cats in my apartment and as you can imagine they have taken over! We are currently held hostage by them in order to serve them lots of tuna!!

You are most welcome Sandra! I love your little Kitty. He is just so sweet. I sometimes work on my blog during the night. It is pointless lying awake, so I would rather get up and do something constructive. No little kitty to distract me though, which is a shame.

Better start looking when you close the dishwasher or you might wash a cat.

Is the kitten your pre-wash cycle? :-D

Cats sure do rule.
I keep asking him if he was born in a barn. And though he doesn't respond, I think he probably was:)

3 kittens in your apartment! I bet there's never a dull moment. What fun.

Hi, Alex,
I have to check the dishwasher, the washing machine, the dryer, the door going to the garage.....and the list goes on.

Ha! Good one, CJ.

We're going to have to find you a little kitty that needs a wonderful forever home.

Hi Pat, I think Orlin, Cassie and Franky are kindred spirits:)

Poor kitty. I'm glad you got up and found him. I'm reminded of my baby girl, who started playing hide and go seek in the kitchen cabinets. We hear her giggle and have no idea where she's hiding this time. Being 19 months old must be so amusing.

Oh they do love going into anything that is open. Once we heard meows and we were looking everywhere. Finally we had to stand and listen and found Miss. Lucy...under the kitchen sink! My hubby did the dishes and when he went to grab a garbage bag she must have slipped by him and he closed the door. She must have been there for 3 hours. She told us off in no uncertain meows. Your kitty is a cutie!

Naughty kitty! At least in the linen closet he had something cozy to lay around on.
