After the meal the evening evolved into unbridled carnage under the tree.
Below are pics of some of the fam.
This bucket was for the kiddos' packages. I glued on the snowmen, strung lights then taped on individually wrapped candy canes. The tape doesn't doesn't add to the aesthetics but it makes it easy for little ones to remove(i.e. rip:) from the tub. What about you? Did you have a wondrous Christmas?

That does look like fun.
Our Christmas was very quiet, but lovely.
Looks like you all had fun. Here was quiet, just me, as always, so didn't celebrate. Have a great week, hugs, Valerie
Loks like a grand time was had by all.
Yvonne.
Sounds like you had a good family time. A cruise huh. I guess we will learn more soon.
Looks like a fun Christmas Eve. I'm sure the kids didn't even notice the tape.
I am glad to hear you had a nice Christmas. I am interested in the vegetarian Shepherd's Pie.
It looks like a fun time was had by all. I love the 'bucket' idea and will be borrowing it next year. We had a great Christmas with the family. Barbara x
I did more this year than many before.A friend worked me over with movies and we still have watched a few more.I even got gifts instead of coal. 40 years is lovely to hear
Because the Eldest had to work Christmas Day, we celebrated on Christmas Eve, too. Love the bucket with the loot. You might want to try glue dots or double stick tape to adhere treats, but make it easy for big or little fingers to get. Happy New Year!
Looks like a great time was had indeed. What's a little tape lol
How fun! Sheppard's Pie for me, please.
Lovely being the operative word.
Would have loved to have had you celebrating with us.
Hugs
It was. Thanks, Yvonne.
We did have a good time. Hadn't been with my sister for Christmas in 6 years.
Cruise info tomorrow:)
They didn't:)
Nice pictures of your christmas
It was great. Onions, potatoes, carrots and seitan. I love seitan as a meat sub.
Thanks, Barbara:)
Glad you had a fun one.
Sounds like you had a grand Christmas, Steve:)
So we celebrated together!
Will the dots peel off easily without tearing the paper?
My thoughts exactly, Pat:)
Sorry, all gone:( It was delish!
Thanks, Adam. Did you have a great one?
It looks lovely and the bucket is a smart idea. I can tell there was a lot of love in that room -- and then a cruise to come! Wow!

Best Christmas ever:)
Actually, my sister works at Purina and brought in all sorts of cat and dog treats. Whew.
It sounds like you had a wonderful Christmas and I love the Pail. I had a great Christmas and enjoyed our time with my mom Christmas Eve during the day and then we celebrated with my brother Christmas Eve which is always my Christmas. My hubby got me a nice hat and scarf set, movies and a great smile. I was so happy to fool my hubby with a gift I got him...a mitre saw table. I thought for sure he knew what was in the trunk but he didn't know. It was too heavy to bring in so I left it in the trunk of the car and wrapped up a small gift box with a note inside saying to look int the trunk:) on Christmas Day, my niece Jade and her girlfriend came over and I was able to find the words "You are my sunshine, my only sunshine..." written on a wood piece in a store. I bought it for my niece since my mom always sang that to her since she was little. Jade cried when she saw this and it made me almost cry too. I was so happy to have found that. Now I can't wait to hear all about your trip.
Thanks for sharing these photographs - looks a fun Christmas.
We had a nice Christmas, it's funny it seems a while ago now - and yet it isn't that long.
