O Christmas Tree

After putting up Frosty, the next step was the Christmas tree. Below is the tree topper and ornaments collected over the years, some new, some old. As you can see, there is no theme....though, if there were it would probably be cats.
This one is hard to see. It's a Christmas Tree my son made in grade school with his picture on it.

LOVE your topper and ornaments.
Themes are for other people. The trees which make me smile are chock full of precious memories and sentiment.

This is such a fun tree, love all the ornaments. Your cat seems to like helping, too! No tree here, but I have put up a few stars! Have a good week, hugs, Valerie

Cats sure win the day. Hmm but will it be left standing with the cat in the final one about?

Love them all. I am not a fascist about Christmas trees.

Such a pretty tree. So many beautiful ornaments. The M&M guys made me giggle, but my favorite was the white angel kitty. Ink liked hanging out under the Christmas tree. His ornaments were hung where he could reach, and he loved the bell ornaments, too.

And there goes your ornaments!
We have no theme either. Just a tree of memories.

My goodness, what cool and interesting ornaments, and your tree is so lovely. I really enjoy seeing the ornaments that have been collected over the years that can be given to family members to carry on the traditions. Great way to start off Monday, Super Sandra! Hugs...RO

We put bricks at the base and use a lot of 'no' spray. But still at risk:)

Ha. That's a good thing:)

Love the ornaments and the fact that they have sentimental value...the very best kind.
It is such a joyous time of year 🎄☃❄

Thanks, CJ:)My white angel kitty has been gone about 12 years now, though I'm not sure the term angel fitted him:)
Sounds like Ink loved Christmas too.

Hi Steve,
Glad you liked the ornaments.
Bad kitty indeed! Grin.

Thanks, I'm glad, Jamie:)

Our tree was always the best and biggest cat toy ever. Most of the ornaments wound up scattered across the carpet and the culprit loved hiding near the top within paw reach of the angel. Ah the joys of the Christmas cat.

Thanks, Christine! Glad you enjoyed them:)

Biggest cat toy ever. What a perfect description.
We have pictures of our son's cat hiding in our Christmas tree.
I had to stop letting in our outdoor cat several years ago because he thought the Christmas tree was real and would hose it down. Needless to say we no longer have that tree.

Sandra Cox said...

I get a kick out of that one too:)
The HH got that for me one year when we went to the Outer Banks.
Thanks for stopping by.
Happy Holidays.

Sandra Cox said...

Thank you, Jeanie.
After putting up the tree, I can't imagine all the time that went into your home décor. You did a wonderful job.
Have a jolly day.

I used to have that bunny ornament (curled up on the poinsettia.) I think it really belong to one of my children, and is hopefully nestled in their tree at this moment!

Very pretty tree! Those ornaments are adorable...

Sandra Cox said...

That's one of my favorites, Marcie. I love little bunnies.

Sandra I promised you an update on my grandson and great-grandson...
Our grandson is still in a wheelchair and his feet are still in casts. Both were shattered in the accident. He is very strong and doesn't baby himself.
Our great-grandson had his feeding tube removed and is able to eat on his own. He has to wear a back brace possibly for the rest of his life. But we thank God everyday that they are both alive and here with us. We received our Christmas Miracle this year for sure.
Take care and have a lovely holiday season 🎄

Just peeking in to say hello, and to ask, "what happened to Winter in NC?" lol Isn't it neat how cats really love Christmas ornaments? When I had mini-me, that was her favorite form of entertainment for the entire holiday. Happy Tuesday! RO

So many kitty ornaments! Haha. I can't fault you though. Mine is covered in dinosaurs.

Sandra Cox said...

Can you believe it? This time next week it will be over.

Sandra Cox said...

I hear it's coming, Rocking Ro.
My main problem lately with the ornaments is the dog's tail. He keeps whacking the ornaments off with it.

Sandra Cox said...

I'd love to see that tree:)

I have been very busy putting up my Nativity and my houses and am decorating the tree. The last part is the tinsel which I put up one by one. I also came back, today, from my lydacain infusion. Now...I love your tree which is sweet and whimsical. My hubby would love it because he is a cat nut

(The furnace came back on today! Happy Dance, but before it did, we were without hydro for 4 hours in the morning! LOL!)

Sandra Cox said...

I love tinsel on trees but I sure don't have the patience to put it on.
Hope your lydacain infusion does the trick, Birgit.

Thanks, Jan:)

Jan, I'm sorry your grandson and great are so challenged but I'm thrilled the feeding tube is out. That's got to be huge for him.
Happy holidays to you and your family.

My heart is smiling--What a lovely sentiment.
Whew. So relieved the furnace is up and running.
