I loved The Force Awakens and enjoyed The Last Jedi just as much. It was two hours and thirty minutes of sci-fi/fantasy punch-packed action. If you're a Star Wars fan, I trust you'll appreciate it as much as I did. Even without Harrison Ford, on a one to ten, I give it a ten without popcorn. With popcorn, a solid eleven.
I am really glad that you enjoyed it so much - and trust that you had the popcorn too.
ReplyDeleteYou bet! Have to have the popcorn:)
DeleteGlad you enjoyed it, but it's not my thing, I haven't watched any of the films! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI can remember where I was when I saw the first one, many years ago. If you don't count the prequels, I've really enjoyed them.
DeleteHope your day is filled with sparkle.
Hugs back,
I'm delighted you enjoyed it and gave it such a favorable review, too. I'll even buy the popcorn for this one!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy it, Elizabeth....and that the popcorn is cheaper in your neck of the woods. Grin.
DeleteI really enjoyed it, too. Carrie Fisher was in it more than I thought she would be and what Luke did in the end I did not see coming.
ReplyDeleteI loved that last scene of Carrie Fisher in the blue dress and that Luke came back into the light.
DeleteHey There Super Sandra! Star Wars continues to trend years after it was first created, and so glad you really had fun and enjoyed the latest movie. I haven't see this one yet, but I talked to a few hardcore fans who really pick apart the movies.(lol) A couple said it was the best yet, and a few said they couldn't get into the characterization. Either way, I'm glad it was a success theatrically because of the money that went into it. I shudder to think what would have happened had it actually lost money. What really amazes me is the amount of money to be made on ebay for certain Star Wars memorabilia! Action figures, puzzles, posters, clocks, etc. Some of the figures are astounding. Headed out soon to get in my steps in the cold for exactly 15 minutes so I can burn some much needed calories. (lol)Then back into the house to enjoy some lightly salted popcorn and Netflix. Who am I kidding? Of course there will be a cheeseburger too! Happy Tuesday! Hugs...RO
ReplyDeleteWell as long as you get in your fifteen minutes, you're entitled to your cheeseburger:)
DeleteI must see this! I missed Rogue O;e in the theatre so I will not miss this one
ReplyDeleteLet me know what you think about it, Birgit:)
DeleteUghh-One-my tablet likes to flick in those colons or whatever instead of the letter
DeleteNot a Star Wars fan. Might wait for this to come around Netflix =^,.^=
ReplyDeleteMay the force be with you anyway:)
DeleteSure another fine installment indeed, but then anything beats the prequels lol
ReplyDeleteWeren't those a let down. And in contrast Star Trek's prequels have been amazing.
DeleteI loved it as well, some fanboys went nuts in a bad way over it because it didn't align with their fan theories
ReplyDeleteWe liked it and that's what counts, right?:)
DeleteHey, you are one cool lady. I loved Star Trek back in the day. I've started a few of Star Wars, but too much movie effects for me and hype. I DO agree, popcorn makes everything better!! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteJQ Rose
I LOVE the Chris Pine Star Trek series! At least the first two. The third was so-so, for me at least.
DeleteAnd a Happy New Year to you, Janet. May it be filled with many sales:)
Glad you enjoyed. I agreed to see it with my family, but not really a Star Wars fan.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure your family appreciated you going even though it wouldn't have been your pick.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad it's good. I'm not big on sci-fi so I'll give it a pass, but sure glad you enjoyed!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jeanie:)
DeleteHappy New Year! Sounds good!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year to you, Nas. We certainly thought it was.
DeletePleased you enjoyed this Sandra. Lifts one's spirits.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
Thank you, Yvonne:)
ReplyDeleteWow, really Sandra?? Thanks for the review!!! Glad you enjoyed it that much! Big Hugs!
