The Irises

The Irises are blooming. In fact, they've almost bloomed out.

It's tradition: When I see the first Iris of the year unfurl I put out this dishcloth that my sister got me when we visited the botanical gardens many years ago.
The garden:

Irises blooming and regal,
With promises made by the sun.

What a lovely garden. I love irises! They are one of my favorite spring flowers. Irises and daffodils. Have a great day.

Your irises are far more beautiful than mine. I only have the purple ones. Yours are so much more colorful. Beautiful garden shots and that dishcloth is out of this world.

Sure a colorful display as they add to it at your bay.

I love iris's actually and your garden looks so pretty especially with that fairy angel! I had iris's but they didn't do well because I am the kiss of death when it comes to plants. My hubby, who has a green thumb, ripped them out because he is not a fan..just like my mom! I think I married my mom:)

Thanks, Elizabeth. I'm sure yours are gorgeous. I want to get another color.

I'm wondering if it's all the liquid we got this winter. My plants have either doubled or died:)

They're such elegant flowers and they last a long time in the garden. I took all of mine out last year because of some blight. I really miss them, and you've inspired me to put some fresh ones in! Thanks.
