AND....
I'm going to be offline the rest of the week. Have a great one and leave the light on for me.
AND...
A BELATED Happy Birthday to our blogger pal Adam.
AND.....
Remembering one of America's greatest heroes, John McCain. A man that put country before party.
Sometimes it's just not possible to ignore what's going on in the world. Happy Birthday to Adam. Have a great week! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteThat's for sure, Val.
DeleteThanks. You too.
Hugs received and returned.
How I wish that endangered species, global change and environmental protection, DID transcends political parties. It should. World-wide.
ReplyDeleteA happy birthday to Adam.
Enjoy your week away. We will keep the light on.
It should transcend indeed, EC. I'm afraid if global change isn't gotten under control soon, and the critters and environment aren't protected, it will be too late.
DeleteThanks for leaving the light on. It guided me home.
I have written my senators and congressmen to let them know how I feel about several of these bills that are in committee right now. It's just one more reason Earth Day was created. With this president, we take one step forward, and three steps back in the environmental arena.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday Adam.
I will NEVER forget what our president said about McCain. For those who don't know, he said McCain was NOT a hero. A HERO would NOT have been captured!! This was said by the man people voted into office.
And the man who dodged the draft and never served in the military
DeleteBut the poor guy had a bone spur. Choke choke. Hack hack.
DeletePolitic's to me is a no go. Happy birthday to Adam.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your week off line you will be missed Sandra.
Yvonne.
Thanks so much, Yvonne;) Hope your week was a good one.
DeleteAgreed about issues like these transcending politics. Hope all goes well for you during your break from the 'net!
ReplyDeleteThey sure do, Heather.
DeleteBreak, except for some back issues, was good. Thanks:)
Protect or watch vanish.
ReplyDeleteLike his politics or not, McCain was an honorable man.
Enjoy your week off! I enjoyed mine.
Yes and yes.
DeleteGlad you enjoyed your time away, my friend.
At a loss for the politically correct words ...
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday to Adam.
God rest, Senator McCain.
I hope your week goes well!
Thank you, Sharon.
DeleteHope your week went well.
I will watch the clip tomorrow, but I can guess how it goes. McCain was a very odd politician, a Republican but a decent and sincere person. I heard he asked for Obama to read his obituary at his funeral.
ReplyDeleteThat's right, Andrew. He asked both Obama and Bush to speak. He was one of the few bipartisans left. He will leave a huge hole in our government and our lives.
DeleteHappy birthday to Adam.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the well wishes to Adam, Jamie.
DeleteI'm going to skip any more political comments as news items about 45 make me puffy like an angry cat. Happy Birthday to Adam. Have a great week. We'll be waiting for you
ReplyDeleteI do a lot of puffing too:)
DeleteThanks for waiting for me:)
Happy Birthday Adam! Have a great time off Sandra
ReplyDeleteThanks, Christine:)
DeleteI remember Trump totally ruined the Al Smith dinner in 2016 as he didn't even get the point of the comedic event, like how he has ruined everything else about this country.
ReplyDeleteIndeed.
DeleteHappy Birthday Adam!!!
ReplyDeleteI cannot talk about Trump...my blood pressure goes sky high at the thought of him!!!
RIP John McCain...you are a hero~
I can relate on the blood pressure, Jan.
DeleteAnd completely agree about McCain.
Happy Birthday to Adam. And farewell, John McCain -- what a remarkable man and life. I can only think of one person I would like to be an endangered species. Any guesses who?
ReplyDeleteHa. Good one.
DeleteKicked my out , I work a lot of research and one would be amazed how many people work just to keep a species going.Sad to throw away. I have worked Monarch Migration for 25 year out of the U of KS.It will start soon.Prairie would not be here if we hadn't worked to save and repair.
ReplyDeleteKudos to you, Steve. Keep up the good work.
DeleteYes, it is sad.
I am not even going to get started or I will never shut up ~~~~~~
ReplyDeletehappy birthday Adam and enjoy your time off Sandra ~~ !! ☺☺♥♥
I hear ya on that.
DeleteThanks, FSG:)
Enjoy your time away.
ReplyDeleteRIP John McCain!
RIP indeed. He's certainly earned it. Though, I imagine he's arguing with someone:)
DeleteThanks, Chrys.
John McCain set a standard of honor few leaders can or will meet.
ReplyDeleteThat's for sure, Susan.
DeleteEnjoy your week away. Ugg Trump is such a moron. The only animal that should be endangered is that thing on his head.
ReplyDeleteHa!
DeleteDon’t get me started on that orange buffoon...I just get more and more angry especially when the animals are at risk and the only Defense they have is us! I don’t agree with the politics of John McCain but he was one courageous, and honourable man that had no problem standing up to bullies. He is one politician I respect
ReplyDeleteAgree and agree.
DeleteHi Sandra - have a good week ... I avoided various things on this post ... so I'll see you anon - cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteCheers, Hilary.
DeleteThat is so sad about the animals. I pray that this doesn't change in your country. How horrible. Happy Birthday Adam! Have a great week off Sandra! Big Hugs and we will see you when you get back!
ReplyDeleteIt is sad, isn't it?
DeleteThanks, Stacy.
Hugs received and returned.
Sad about the endangered. Happy birthday to Adam!
ReplyDeleteIt is indeed.
DeleteHappy Birthday to Adam.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time off.
All the best Jan
