Monday-Tuesday

We made our annual pilgrimage into the mountains to see the fall foliage.
And this jumped through the cracks in my garden walk.

What a great view in the third last photo.

Gorgeous photos. The view from the car almost looks like a painted mural.

I'm not sure there is ANYTHING prettier than the mountains in the fall. All that height dimension offers some drop dead views. Sounds like a glorious time!

You live in a beautiful area where leaves change colors. Here they go from green to DEAD. I so enjoyed this voyage you shared with us. Beauty abounds in your part of the country. The pumpkin displays are amazing. I love the white ones the most.

Fungi and weeds will survive when all hope is otherwise gone!

Happy birthday Sonya.

It's so pretty! I'm kind of jealous. I live in California so it's always the same colors around here.

Unfortunately for the fungi, I was looking up instead of down on my last walk:(

Thanks, Yvonne. Glad you liked them.

I especially appreciate NC after growing up in a state whose scenery mainly consists of cornfields:)
I too love the white pumpkins:)

Hi Robert, I didn't realize you were in California. It's definitely a beautiful state. Hope you aren't in any of the fire areas.

Sandra Cox said...

Thanks, Christine. I'm glad.

I love red maple leaves. I don't know if that is good or bad either. Let's say good:)

Thanks for the birthday wishes! 😊 Great picks of your trip. I like the grand view with the tables the best. Was it cold? I wonder if white pumpkins grow to blend in with snow? 🤔

Autumn is a beautiful season, isn't it, Adam?

I enjoyed those pumpkin displays too, Jan. Mother Nature was decked out in her finery, wasn't she?

Happy Birthday, Birthday Girl.
The view was from what used to be Canyons. Do you remember it or have you ever been there? It was a beautiful day. Not too warm. Not too cold.
White pumpkins blending with snow...I like it!

Robert (above) said what I was going to say. We live in a monotone desert plant world here. Yours is amazingly beautiful.

Sonya said...

No, I hadn't been to Canyons. I think that's the restaurant y'all have talked about? Is that where Shane lost his hat to a super stiff wind?

Love these beautiful pictures. The one with the flowers and the white pumpkin in the middle caught my eye. Happy belated birthday to Sonya

Happy belated birthday to Sonya, and my goodness those pics are the best! I usually pick a new neighborhood each year to check out Christmas lights, but never thought about going to look at the decorations for the Fall season. What a great idea to explore the beauty of nature, Super Sandra! Hugs, RO
